Some air toss builds aren't capable of switching into mass gateway that fast; depends on the variation (twilight council timing and stargate count). Most builds are incapable of doing that switch. In general, the reasons why it fell out of flavour were the rise of Swarm Host builds (which shit on the chargelot/archon ground army) and a bunch of nydus/mass queen timings that would just always kill your third pretty much. A proper swarm host build should be able to have enough AA to protect the sh's from the voids, while at the same time killing the ground army; that's the biggest reason i think. Leenock just kind of...didn't make any aa and got caught out of position horribly. | ||
