Zerg once again finding finishing against Hasu is difficult.

Well watching a protoss lose then have to wait through the 15 minute death animation isn't that entertaining for me atleast.

That was a cool game by Snute, so aggressive and spoony.
Also cool to see Infested Terrans win the game for once since they were nerfed to the ground.

Tbh, I feel like Hasuobs wouldn't even be competitive if the game had limited unit selection. Maybe it's a silly thought, but he's so calculated with his army control that I don't think he would cope well with more twitchy play where you have to micro a lot of units individually very quickly.

He can do this because his mechanics and control allow him to stay in Hasu's face and trade decently. Against a really good defensive toss all that will accomplish is to get all your units stuck in FF and killed.
Letting Snute take 4 bases and macro freely after losing your third twice is not going to work.

It's not like he won national tournaments in a game revolving around individually microed units!

You would think that they could, if only they were used to microing their units. To be honest, casters usually aren't microed that way. Not saying that they shouldn't, but I barely saw anyone microing their casters apart from knowing to land good spells and to back off when needed. You have to micro Templars a lot And yet again, most of the pros still got their Templars in one group, barely any of them spreads them. I know you have to micro them back and forth so they don't get sniped, same as Vipers and Infestors, but no they don't really spread them so they don't get caught by AoE.
And that is what that guy was talking about, majority of players just don't spread their spell casters.

Nah I don't think so. There was limited unit selection in wc3 too. And if it was like this he would have practiced this.

Wasn't Hasu a WC3 player or something?

Yaeh, no big suspense but lot of actions, it change from 2 deathball into "one fight a move". And as a zerg, i love protoss death animation :p

Hasu's micro is not bad, but his multitasking and mechanics are not on the level of Snute's. Snute would be well advised to open safely here and go mutas if Hasu does not go SG.

2:00 Snute (15) - Hasu (15) 15 pool vs. Nexus 1st.
3:00 Snute (15) - Hasu (17) Natural for snute vs gateway
4:00 Snute (21) - Hasu (25) Gas taken by Snute. Hasu takes double gas, zealos msc on the way.
5:00 Snute (31) - Hasu (31) 3rd on the way for Snute and ling speed. 2 more gates and forge for Hasu.

Pretty decent FF trap there. Not the most efficient, but still got quite a few lings.

Wasn't Hasu a WC3 player or something? Yes, but people are prizing "WC3's micro" way too much, since microing in WC3 and army control wasn't too hard, it was definitely easier than in SCBW, especially because WC3 is a lot slower game.
And he wasn't among the best WC3 players.

Don't think I've ever seen a nexus successfully denied with lings if the toss has 6-7 sentries there. It's just a waste of larva and minerals imo.

Who knew one day everyone would be begging to see infestors be played.
