Yeah I agree. No other employer would let you do other things when there is work to be done. And their job is to cast GSL. It is really disappointing as a viewer as well although I am less and less hyped about tastosis as GSL seasons go by.
they're not full time employees of GSL, and they've had leeway to do other tournaments forever (MLGs, DH's).

I spent $0 played for 3 months very casually and have 3 legendaries. You can definitely be highly competitive on grinded, cheap decks if you spend your dust right.
