Nothing tops what MKP did with his MM army on creep vs KyrixZenith speed banes
A lot tops that actually
What the hell are you smoking lol. I'm not a MKP fan and not a prime fan but Kyrix MKP game 2 (i think) is the best micro i have EVER seen for a terran.
But those baneling control are not good and MKP was on creep for the game against Kyriux.....
It's nowhere impressive.... the guy is rolling bane left and right and don't know what to do. No bane splits. I guess it's a foreigner with those banes ? It's not korean value (also ok kyrix was not near the level we have today. At least he splited his bane)
MarineKing was barely on the creep at all. Most of his micro was off creep in the middle of the tree things (still impressive - but not on creep)
Unless the highlight video missed that out, which I doubt it, as it would have been the main focal point of the micro
Maybe you're right.
But the baneling controls on the happy vids are just BAD (ok i'm gold) but from a watcher perspective this is bad micro for a gm with banes
Yeah it was definitely a case of "kite the ball of banes by having a section of marines close to it at all times" - I agree with you.
Not sure if you are being sarcastic because i don't really get what you are saying. My point was the marine control is good but the bane control isn't. It's just a pack of bane running arround. Not lots of small packs. But maybe i'm wrong. I don't have a good memory so...
Well some times the most impressive micro tricks are done to subpar players, the better players eliminate the ability to micro so it's actually less impressive. Boxer doing the tank pick up drop micro vs dragoons was only possible because he played players who never right clicked the dropship, but it's still impressive.

Why?
I am just trolling, except for him getting crushed, I am not trolling about that.
MKP is one of the very few Terran players that I really dislike, that is probably the reason.
MKP is so likable imo. may i ask your reason why you dislike him?
severely limited player managing to make himself relevant in a bad game. if this was bw he would never make it out of ogn qualifiers
couldn't you say that about a lot of sc2 pros??? (the ones who were either 'bad' at bw or didnt play bw) but what is your point?
MKP's micro is also really good so I don't see the point about BW... I guess there must be some people to hate his personality (I personally don't) or play style (I personnaly don't like SCV pulls but it's not like he often does it), but one cannot say his style wouldn't be good for BW imo.
The old MKP wouldve SCV pulled into storm. I dont think MKP had a chance to beat a protoss like Rain going into late game his timing was actually very crisp for MKP standards.
depends on which old MKP, the old MKP would have straight up killed rain with 2 medivac push lol
old MKP would have opened up banshees on daybreak doing a lot of damage. get further ahead with his medivac push. then sit back and fail to defend zealot runbys and throw a huge lead resulting in his eventual elimination in the OSL and allowing Rain to get through to go on and win it D:

I wish I could link drg vs innovation on whirlwind but gomtv has taken it down and wcs still hasn't uploaded the replays

Prime is bound to win that match, but really that says more about CJ than it does about Prime.
Seems MKP really has given Prime a bit of a shot in the arm though, which is nice. They finally have a player who can win games and who is not named Creator.

those mkp splits against kyrix was the very first public exhibition of stellar marine micro and literally defined what a great terran should be able to do. no disrespect to happy (hes one of the last few decent foreign terrans left) but hes opponent that game was no kyrix either, just a simple amove
darkforce showed way better micro than kyrix. he certainly didn't just a move, he split his banelings against bio and magic box thors and also focus tanks with muta you might as well simplified happy microing his marine t and move back.

That's wolf, he always does that. Half his calls are wrong.
This was Brendan's call. Right after he said "MKP has WAY TOO MUCH !!", Wolf said the exact contrary. In fact, it was close, ended up in Rain barely holding, but MKP lost tons of workers unlike Rain. Overall Wolf was definitely more right than Brendan though.

This is T v P. He was on a timer, theres ffs so no amount of mirco is going to get all your forces engaging the protoss army it never happens unless the toss is backed into the corner. T v P is about damage control on the fly man and usually for someone who displays a distinct lack of thought or foresight in his games because of his overwhelming emotion I thought he actually had a good grasp on the game and the right thought process. It wasnt a throw either. Protoss as is, is really tough for terran and considering that toss was RAIN who has mechanical ability up the ying yang it was an impressive showing.
MKP has never really had a good grasp on the game... he's just a pitbull with great mechanics. Once the better players adapt to his aggression again, he'll have a tough time winning just as before.

i dno i'd say it's probably even, depends on the matchups really. creator needs to take out someone big on CJ, mkp needs a mediocre player, and then creator can take the ace since he's probably slightly better than herO

i dno his builds look pretty good in the maps against dream and rain, although he was a bit mechanically meh against dream

He was having a tough time winning before because he was doing stupid shit, like +1 timings with bio vs zerg instead of going for 4m

he did say he doesn't like playing aggressive anymore if i remember correctly, that's why he started mech in late wol. (or was it that he wants more defensive play style?)
he used these +1 CS timing back in wol as well and they worked pretty well.
MKP's shape surprised me since he's returned, wonder how much he was playing while on his LoL hiatus. Enjoyed the clash of styles in the ace as well. MKP would be properly terrifying if he had the brain of an Mvp or Supernova but as he is he's looking pretty decent

I remember him promising to play less greedy at one point and more safe overall (which he didn't).

yeah i think creator is playing better than hero, in SPL at least. he's steamrolled everyone he's played in R2 no contest

I think mvp with any top terrans mechanics would be fucking terrifying. It's not like mvp was ever really known for being mechanically gifted (yes he could pull off what he needed to but he was no innovation).
