This DT build is a pretty specific build and is perfectly fine vs 3 Gate Pressure, you can even hold 10 Gate 3 Gate with it sometimes. Ask your Protoss friends if you don't want to trust a random person on TL :D. Yeah, it holds 3 gate pressure just fine. What it's really got trouble against is a 1gate expand into robo. That's basically the hardest counter there is to it. | ||

Rain especially doesn't mind expanding later than usual because he is confident in his skill. Although there is shit like Gate Robo Gate Gate with heavy pressure which lets you have an Observer in your and their base in time for DTs which is the hardest of hard counters, but only works if you're like 100% expecting them to do the super DT build. | ||

If he hadn't hallucinated then he'd have been completely blind and that's a surefire way to lose. You can't make any decisions in PvP if you're blind. He can't move out, he doesn't know what tech he needs, does he need units? Nah, he needed to do that. It was super smart by Rain and HerO got caught with an unlucky build matchup that Rain made even worse by delaying the hallucination scout | ||
