Yeah Bio+WM seems dead atleast. Ive seen a couple of korean try Bio, Maru one of them, most of them have gone with hellbats instead of WM. Didnt work out in those particular matches though. I dont think we will see much bio play in TvZ in the future

The nerf was quite massive. (old WM could kill 35 banes when stacked perfectly)

I think zergs have become very good in the matchup, and they are know exactly what to expect from WM and can control engagements better. Also, WM nerf made it so that if you have a supply lead you can pretty much run over the terran and just disregard the WM. Also, mech with the hellion banshee opener has a nice transition flow and gives the terran a better control of the game and a good tool to force the zerg to me more active and reactive before the 10 min mark

I don't really think bio is weak or unpopular... I just think Dream played like he was in Gold division.
Bio is still very viable. Build 2 turrets next to that bunker and Dream would have held that 3rd without having to pull workers or pull his army, then easily take a 4th. Could even put a single widow mine close by to scare/cripple the mutas even further.
It's not about bio being weak, it's about Terran players playing very stupid games, or playing good games but losing to situations or being outplayed by currently better ZvTers or lucky Zergs. You can't go from bio being extremely good to bio no longer being viable without even having a major patch to force such a change.
Mech is just cool and being are finally finding out how to play it, so they are starting to use it more often.
