Better than dragging your whole army back to defend mutas, then having no map presence, and getting back stabbed some where else. By your logic depot walls are useless too then because you rebuild then and they just die to ling bane? >_>

I would remove sOs from my team. But this is simply because I never ever liked sOs in any point in my life. He means to me what Roro means to Zealously I guess.

What I mean is that Jin Air doesn't really have an alternative to playing maru as their ace. Maru vs SK is better than sOs vs SK.


Hmya, you're right. The thing is that Jin Air doesn't really have an ace player besides Maru, so they either gamble on sOs or pray for Maru's PvZ to improve. Though I'm still wondering why Maru went for those hellbats, I think they're just a bad choice. But since he's the progamer and I'm just the random nerd, I guess he knows what he's doing.

Are you really going to play sOs at this point with his performance so far?

He's had a good week. looked fine in Code A. won his match today. He's back on the rise. Maru consistently loses against Soulkey. Yeah I would have played sOs even though he had a bad start to proleague

Also sOs' 0-4 streak was partially bad luck. I think it's safe to assume he'll do better from now on.

He had none in his entire main and it ended up making his whole army stay at the base for 2 minutes this game, it's just a player quirk, making a few turrets by the production is also completely standard.

My math is correct, but it doesn't resemble the game's logic correctly. Thing is, either way, you lose 1000 minerals which can be another double dropship in your opponent's main. Basically, it's about decisionmaking: do you take the risk to lose 20scv to a muta flock (because that happens if you can't keep the pressure up and force the mutas to defend) or do you play it safe, but risk to let the zerg macro a lot more than he should/lighten the pressure that you're supposed to put on with your parade push

You miss one important point;
IF Terran pro players go mass turret:
- A) They lose because their army is too small
- B) They are already so far ahead they can afford the turrets to make the comeback chance smaller
- C) They are probably playing Mech and not needing the Minerals.

There is NO Pro Terran bio player that makes over 1/2 turrets per base, except for really open mains. A turret past 15 minutes dies in 1 salvo of mutalisk and is thus not worth the investment.

Aggression is terran's best defense (vs. mutas) in ZvT.
