It's an RTS, outplaying and outsmarting are the same thing. The only real surprise so far is CJ struggling.

Mechanical outplaying in straight game and just outhinking are still different things for me. But whatever.

CJ will recover in next rounds, they can freely lose this time, be, let's say, 3rd 3 times in a row and be in okay position for the rest of the competition.
Especially now when they're fighting not with 7 teams and only with 5 basically, with SKT T1 as team who will probably make all 4 playoffs and Prime, who won't make even one.

Well I don't mean it so much as being at the bottom, but rather a comparison of fan expectations before and after the Proleague season started.

EG-TL were the fan favorites/newcomers heading into Proleague last season. The same could be said for IM, especially for fans of the ESF teams joining this season. Between IM, MVP, and Prime, I'd say that IM is the new team with the most fans supporting them, especially if the 'Who will win 2014 Proleague?' poll is anything to go by. Of course, the amount of hype surrounding EG-TL and IM heading into the season are barely comparable, but both teams had deep and solid rosters expected to do well in Proleague format (though that was truer before First and Yoda left IM...), only for them to fall short even still.

Prime, on the other hand, is a team with a bare bones roster getting stomped week after week. Not even EG-TL's first week in Proleague was THAT bad, lol.

IM focus has never been team league, seeing how they often send out weaker players for them to get exposure.

In Starcraft, whole rosters change every 3 years or so, nothing surprising. Even shorter if your team is rich, like SKT which has PartinG, Classic, Bravo and SK in today's lineup and none of them was around 1 year ago. I support KT because if Violet had not died and Lux hadn't cheated they imo still would be on the team today. Mind transferred when he already (imo) was way over the hill skill wise. Lux and Action weren't homegrown but one is still around years later and the other probably would have been short of match fixing. Oh well.

RIP 815, Tempest (First?), ForGG, CH... probably forgetting people but that's all of them off the top of my head. Started watching PL a little too late for Zergbong but I do remember him losing an ace match on bluestorm.

In before someone tells me Flash was from WeMade... I don't care...
