Well I was also surprised about the game of Byul who showed a really strong form in the last games. But Zest just massacred him. After that it didn't look too good for IM, since Ruin was clearly the underdog against TY and Flash is Flash. Of course the last game wasn't a one-sided one but I still woudn't ever be betting on Flash losing a game.
All respect to KT, you're right

Especially in PL. That guy is a monster.

For a guy who could not even make to Code A, Ty sure receives a lot of hype.

I mean, Ruin + HerO > TY + Flash? Please ;D Unless of course you think a Protoss should win vs a Terran.

That isn't the whole story though, he looks great when winning in PL and he didn't seem lucky winning against Code S players. But it does seem like preparation helps him, with the way he played against Soulkey.

On the other hand, Squirtle hasn't played like a god either, but he is still quite solid and I could see him wreck Action
For the next matches we should maybe consider to play Trap, as he is comfortable with these kind of things. We still have the PL factor, and the other Kespa teams have major experience advantage

But HerO beating was not too implausible in my calculations, and Ruin could perhaps surprise. But it went as it went, and we now have to look forward

Guess, IM fans were right when they said they don't believe.
KT just outsmarted IM. It wasn't outplay thing, just outsmart. So, i guess, now we have telecommunication squads as top-2, JinAir is solid 3rd, and IM still have a shot to be 4th.
Samsung-IM next week is basically do or die for IM.

I wanted to see Action in... action, hehe. No, really I don't think he has played yet and to be fielded as the one player to close the series out if Zest fails (or even Flash) it takes some trust from the coach. Or trust in TY as the ace player

It is good to see that IM is only capable of beating other former-esf teams. =)

Anyway. KT is climbing steadily to first place in Proleague, where they belong.

Man, now I know what it must've felt like to be an EG-TL fan last year...

Yep, I think if Byul won, the chances wouldn't have been that bad. #1 was open, #2 + #3 were the IM players definitely the underdogs, #4 was clearly IM favored. And in an Ace MAtch everything's possible. But when Byul lost, it was quite obvious it's gonna be a 3:0.

Well I don't mean it so much as being at the bottom, but rather a comparison of fan expectations before and after the Proleague season started.
EG-TL were the fan favorites/newcomers heading into Proleague last season. The same could be said for IM, especially for fans of the ESF teams joining this season. Between IM, MVP, and Prime, I'd say that IM is the new team with the most fans supporting them, especially if the 'Who will win 2014 Proleague?' poll is anything to go by. Of course, the amount of hype surrounding EG-TL and IM heading into the season are barely comparable, but both teams had deep and solid rosters expected to do well in Proleague format (though that was truer before First and Yoda left IM...), only for them to fall short even still.
Prime, on the other hand, is a team with a bare bones roster getting stomped week after week. Not even EG-TL's first week in Proleague was THAT bad, lol.

The only real surprise so far is CJ struggling.
