I feel like he can't keep up because he never has any turrets. Mutas are fast flying units so it is easier to harass with them than defend against them without any static defense. So he keeps too much attention on his base and then fails to control the army. | ||

Because good Zergs will just look for another angle. And if you build enough turrets to cover all your bases, you miss your 3 base timing and the muta ball gets big enough that turrets don't matter. It is a very fine line. | ||
