Just think about it beforehand for every map. They have a gameplan anyway, shouldn't be to hard to remember placements on top of that.

Yes actually. Saying "no" does not invalidate the argument.
If you're not capable of putting a building in a certain part of your base, you're doing something wrong. And it can, and does, cost games, so it's worth fixing.
