If the Terran gets your spire timing and you allow him to have 4 medivacs full of units + 3rd base before building your first muta, obviously drop harass will deal damage. Nonetheless it was the insane multitasking (aka macro behind that) that allowed MMA to win. You show us one map win for Terran which was overwhelming, we can show you a lot of recent ZvT that all looked like there were no widowmines to begin with and Zerg rolled over Terran. | ||

I do not like to bash Blizzard, but gotta agree that Blizzard's balance team pulled off a miracle: they made situation unsolveable. | ||

I think just making some bad terran units less bad is a better approach. Thing is, balance is so razor thin you can't make bad terran units into good units without potentially messing up the balance in other MUs. Like say, if you just wanted to make tanks good in TvZ to compensate for the WM nerf and also to compensate for all the disadvantages tanks have, like can't shoot up, expensive, slow etc, you'd have to apply a ridiculous buff like say 10-20 more flat out damage or 1.0 less attack speed, and we all know those changes would be huge in other MUs and would potentially make bio extinct in TvT. Mutas are kind of a problem in both ZvT and ZvP, the best approach would be a nerf to them in either regen or speed or a bit of both. And if phoenix are a problem just a slight tuning of phoenix. Terran has been winning the vast majority of premier tournament. But when you read some people here it's like we're in the BL/infestor area again and that Terran can't do anything. | ||
