I have no problems actually liking naniwa, you should try it. just accept that your heroes are human beings that aren't perfect models of professionalism.
The problem for me isn't that he is not a model of professionalism, it's because he is the most annoying person I have ever seen. I don't understand how someone can like a person with that personality. Of course, I'm sure people who are fans of him think the opposite.
Also on Twitter hes probably 3x worse than up on stage.
have you actually met him? in real life he's a very nice guy
No, and that has no value in this conversation. I will never meet Naniwa, so my impression is from how he acts in the public eye. And it's terrible. He's a fantastic player, but I can never be a fan of someone with a personality like his.
But then if you've never met him your opinion on his personality also means less.
I disagree. The vast majority of people will never meet him. His personality in the public eye is what most people will see. I guess I should have clarified, and wrote "His personality in the public eye is in the top 3 most annoying people I've ever seen in my life" Sorry.

I really dont think Naniwa has done anything really bad lately. Sure he is emotional and rages a bit but in interviews etc hes been really humble lately
Besides calling Bly a maphacker like two weeks ago ?
And he wished Vortix's family to get cancer...
lol, he did? I don't watch wcs eu. that's pretty bad.
Uhm, he didn't even play vs Vortix this season, and I don't think they've met anywhere else either, so if he did indeed say that it can't have been too recently.
Unless they ran into each other on ladder or something.
Always found amazing how many people are willing to tell why they DO NOT like someone instead of speaking about how they DO like someone. It's very common with everyone (me included), I wonder what's the reason...
Who cares about Naniwa's out of the game attics, you are here to watch players play, not to fake in front of cameras.

It was in RO16, can't remember if it was season 2 or 3 but still.

It most definitely was on ladder... And yes manners there are even among progamers in a sad state. Not defending that but holding a grudge indefinitely in an environment where people are constantly raging is kinda silly too.

Curious as to what the 51st and 52nd states are... Korea and Canada?
Wait.. isn't there 52 states?
I can see why people think that. They think that the continental US is 50 States and Alaska and Hawaii make 52. But we only have 50
And then you have "stuff" like Puerto Rico and maybe D.C which makes it even more confusing.
Yeah Puerto Rico is a "territory" as is Guam, Virgin Islands, etc. Not actually states although I think Puerto Rico is applying for statehood so we could get 51 at some point! D.C. is just weird. Not a state, but has some statelike qualities?

I like's Sans play, it just looks cool. HerO's macro play looks even more cool. sOs games are either jaw dropping either facepalm worthy, so yep. Naniwa's games... uhm, they are smart, but lack that 'cool' part. Okay enough on this, as my opinion can be summarized by:' I hate Naniwa's play'

it's got to do with stuff like professionalism too, don't tell people what they are here to watch. in-game is important, but out-of-game is important too. otherwise innovation would be the most popular player ever and idra would have been another zerg.
