I have no problems actually liking naniwa, you should try it. just accept that your heroes are human beings that aren't perfect models of professionalism.
The problem for me isn't that he is not a model of professionalism, it's because he is the most annoying person I have ever seen. I don't understand how someone can like a person with that personality. Of course, I'm sure people who are fans of him think the opposite.
Also on Twitter hes probably 3x worse than up on stage.
have you actually met him? in real life he's a very nice guy
No, and that has no value in this conversation. I will never meet Naniwa, so my impression is from how he acts in the public eye. And it's terrible. He's a fantastic player, but I can never be a fan of someone with a personality like his.
I really dont think Naniwa has done anything really bad lately. Sure he is emotional and rages a bit but in interviews etc hes been really humble lately
Besides calling Bly a maphacker like two weeks ago ?
And he wished Vortix's family to get cancer...
lol, he did? I don't watch wcs eu. that's pretty bad.

But then if you've never met him your opinion on his personality also means less.

Hey, he all-ined out Hack beforehand. I would not mind someone cheesing him out because of all-ining Hack beforehand. I would be mad if San would cheese Naniwa out after he fair and square outplayed Hack in fair macro :D
I'm guessing you missed the first bo3, where Naniwa played a macro game 3 games and where Hack choo-choo'ed the last 2 games? Your double standard is hilarious.
I did see the first games with choo choo and seeing Naniwa getting essentially bopped by reaper was hilarious. He defended it well in other games though.
So you did see them, you just decided to ignore them?
And let's not mention how this "cheesing isn't playing the game properly" mentality is too retarded. They're progamers, they play to win. The best players always have and always will mix in cheese. I'd say one blink all in in 6 games vs Hack is pretty light on cheese too.

Vortix refused to handshake with Nani, he explained why on Twitter.
Okay. My heart's predictions for tomorrow: Life 3 2 Curious (hey, i won't even mention this as real prediction, since it is Life vZ) Naniwa 3 1 Hyun (with strategies i mentioned on last page, also, hey, so far everytime i cheered against Naniwa he won, time to cheer for him).

Yes.
Don't you know that saying that something is ironic means it's funny and that you cannot criticize it because, you know, it ain't serious?

:D I love how people ALWAYS get so mad when naniwa does well :D
I always get mad when he does so at the cost of someone who actually shows fine games without showing one. If he would actually beat Hack at straight up games (or San for that matter) i would not rage.
Are you related to IdrA or something?
and further more he got SCV pulled by hack all 3 games in the group stage. Only saw the blink allin game in the second bo3 though but was that straight up games by hack?
Yes. Second Bo3. 1st game: Blink pressure into DT pressure into blink stalker + collosi all-in off 2 bases with hack making a single serious mistake into GG. 2nd game: Naniwa defends proxy reaper, fucks up +2 chargelot-storm timing to 1 EMP and loses in straight game. 3rd game: blink all-in.
so he won 1 bo3 against all ins and won one with all ins? seems pretty reasonable

Nani and Nerchio on the EU ladder aren't super friendly

then are you one of those people who thinks the words you choose to say when you're behind a computer screen are somehow less "real" than saying them to someone's face? or do you think that if i'm nice to 100 people and rude to 1, it somehow "cancels out" the feelings of the one person i was rude to?

Cheesing IS a proper way to play the game. It is the worst thing to watch for me though. In fact, i understand why would Naniwa choose the builds he chose, but it still makes me rage watching this and hoping for a good game. Choochoos are cute to watch for me though, since SCVs attacking stuff and dying from everything is pretty funny. Watching collosi evaporate everything in a choke or 10 blink stalkers winning against 6 marauders is not. Call it bias, as it is bias.
