Startale is such a great team to foster players in. They must have a great environment at the team house.

So great that Squirtle left for another eSF team? ;O

Well he's hardly been at the level he was at when he reached the GSL finals since ^.-

Squirtle won GSTL for IM, something he never did on Startale!

This reminded me of that game on Abyssal City vs. Leenock in game 9 vs. FXO in the semifinals last year... I think I remember it being a throw too.

The one where Leenock had overlord drops and was dropping roaches everywhere and ended up winning? I sort of remember that game and I don't think it was a throw, just brilliant by leenock.

I thought it was a sick hold from Squirtle into Squirtle not doing any form of counterattack when he was miles ahead and dying. I could be wrong though. The game was like a year ago.

Yeah, pretty sure It's unintentional. No air unit should have that much vision, compare it to an observer, It's ridiculous.

I guess its a oversight, albeit a pretty big one. Mothership vision is 14 aswell (which is understandable though),

That supports my theory that they accidentally left the old vision in and it was so big before because the Mothership is a gigantic unit.

So Bomber taught Panic how to stop his workers, he either knows the weak spot or they hope Alicia was asleep while watching Panic.

I didn't even realise it was so huge. 14 is massive. O-o They should probably look into that.

It actually has some serious balance implications too, you can use it to get vision for blink all ins and you never have to put it in danger because it can see from so far away. You can't do things like put a missile turret at the edge of your base like you could for an obs.

I can't imagine it is actually an oversight. I believe it is because they want to encourage early scouting/harass with mothership core, but that becomes so much more risky if you don't have a large vision range. Right now a mothership core can stay almost at the edge of a T's base, and scout. If you changed that range to 8-10 you would risk being taken out by marines incredibly easily. Right now you can still be taken out if you overextend or there are a lot of marines, but if you are cautious you can usually escape.

that thing had range 14 from the beginning and you just noticed it ? Works as planned though as they needed it to be able to peak inside of bases and outside for the scouting and not dieing, since it needs the energy. I always would have preferred a range of 6, since then it would need spotters and the High Ground advantage wouldn't be lost by default against Toss.
But it is damn useful scouting ahead of your army.
So doubt they will let go of it. In Blizzards current trend they probably would make it move faster only lol.

The msc is awesome, it singlehandedly saved PvP as a mu and stops us from dying to speedvacs.

Yeah but who knows with Blizzard. They've taken ages to fix obvious stuff before. The original intention for the MSC was to bolster Protoss defence; who knows whether they considered the implication to blink all-ins.

Its spells are awesome. Having a single, weak, slow-moving hero unit to be babysat around is yucky.
