40 mutas were better. After all zealots and immortal do not hit air.
but at least the armies would have to engage for sure, which meant that base trading wouldve been impossible --> jaedong can reinforce the front non stop with how many larva he had (90 something i think according to day9)
in straight engagement 40 roaches would lose to army sOs had IMO. Or you are telling me void ray storm chargelot immortal archon < mass roach :D? And then having 50 or so larva does not matter as forces will be split across 6 or so hatches.
lol come on i didnt really mean that 40 roaches was the best answer obviously, but 40 roaches would have made things into a position a lot harder for him to lose from. i think he shouldve had the normal roach hydra infestor, i.e. a ground army that could go straight up against the opposite army simply out of greater economy, army supply etc
greater economy and army supply of roach hydra festor does not cut it against turtling with storms-chargelot-immortal-archon IMO.

you're creating a theoretical scene in your head.. you saw that match and i saw that match we both know that if jaedong was using a ground army the game would never have gotten close enough for sos to be in the discussion of possibly winning
I hope I am not the only one enjoying this casting combo. Love the banter Artosis and Day9! Also JD u so sick, gimme address so I can mail get well card.

I learned not to underrate sOs storms and feedbacks.
