I actually think Dayshi still showed it's possible. The map wasn't good for late game and Dayshi can still improve a lot of things (earlier ghosts, earlier upgrades, more hellbats, better widow mine control etc.). He almost beat Super with it, not bad at all

For people saying he was behind in upgrades: yeah but 1) armories cost 100 gas and 2) terran cant chronoboost upgrades so mech will always be very behind in upgrades.

It'd be funny if ForGG now meched and won but sadly hes going bio

^Give Mech a +15 dmg against shields upgrade with the research time like stim and we would see it ....

Would still be funny though, guess Super would be wondering if he is stuck in the Matrix or something seeing 2 Terrans try to mech him back-to-back

so dayshi had hotkey problems (hence pauses)

Since Super appears to know how to deal with mech that cannot happen. Protoss shits on mech like no other composition in this game.

I wonder if he knows that you actually have to change which hotkey set you're using, in the settings.

That is the kind of design that killed mech in the first place. The immortal.

What are you talking about? I didn't even mention balance at all. Dayshi was maxed with a bank of 1000/1000, and he didn't upgrade his units. I'm criticizing his play, not the balance of the game....

No excuse. He was maxed, a bank, and time to spare. Dayshi couldve easily been on 3/3 by the end battle. My question is why he didn't allin with his first push.. he had him at the ropes and his unit comp was not something that sustains throughout the lategame.

Honestly after that last game I wouldn't be so sure. Super was so far behind and his army still crushed the mech almost without losing anything!

The sheer amount of army he would have to give up for armories and upgrades would just get him killed quicker.
