Grubby is one of the few players I would not describe as a "kid".
Considering how much Grubby has done in Wc3 he really is far from being a "kid" indeed. Guy has seen pretty much everything there is to see.

Anyone want to make a bet? I'll give you 20:1 odds of a European winning WCS season 2 finals.
A korean will win season 2 finals, noone rly doubts that. But Mvp a Code B player has to be a bad joke.
But he lost to a non-Korean. Everyone knows the only possible way a Korean loses from a non-Korean is if he is Code-B or worse. And then only when the Korean has (jet)lag. And computer issues.

Wasn't Grubby the single best player of all time in WC3?

I'd cry like that if I could survive five minutes against MVP. Seriously, no matter what people think of MVP, he's got serious credentials and winning out of the group over him is an amazing thing.
Amazing day WCS EU delivers. Too bad for Mvp fanboys who are shitting this thread. I'm one of them too and bit sad that Mvp didn't advance but no need to be dick and 1 star a good game.
As a dutchmen knowing grubby has had a very hard time as a sc2 player it gave me chills seeing him cry. He practiced so hard for it and by being 0-1 down i thought it would be very hard but he made it possible by having really good decision making. Im so happy for him and we all saw that it meant so much to him
often a tournament ends in full korean lineup and some people with low postcount say: ugh, only koreans. done for me... but sometimes we can see this and heavy posters are doing the exact same reaction. i thought they know better
