Demuslim seems to have gone unidirectional. He wants to win one major fight, but Crank probably won't give him one and will just slowly whittle him down.

Huk just kinda...picks a random idea and sticks with it wether it's good or bad. I've seen him: not get aoe vs terran for insanely long not get colossi vs zerg going swarm host go tempest vs colossi while having a one base econ in pvp
If you can somehow engage more than perfectly yeah you MIGHT be able to pull off silly shit like that, but generally it's never, ever, EVER going to work vs someone of even skill. Huk could do it in 2011 because he IS really damn good at battle tactics and micro, especially on a good day, but now he's just fallen off so he gets punished for stupid builds like those. I mean, he DID defend a 4gate with a double gas first mothership rush once in beta...

It's silly when terran complain that protoss just "remax" after the big battle, and them not being able to, and neglect the fact that the toss adds gateways throughout the entire game, and terrans usually stop at like 9ish rax

Well, in almost every game/sport, the longer game favors the better team. If we're going to accept that all Koreans are better than all foreigners, yes, it would seem foolhardy.
In reality, I think he can do it but Protoss splash and instant remax if unmolested will destroy Terran bio/viking/ghost.
Well, some players are good at longer games over shorter games, I've been impressed by Crank's lategame management
It would be like taking on Hasuobs in a turtling game, it plays into his comfort zone. That said I do think Demuslim is playing this out pretty well here, good positioning and posturing at present
The first part of my point is true (longer games favor better teams/players), but we're past that point (cheese, mostly). The rest of it was just a silly joke of an argument.
Losing that base wasn't good. He has to keep floating CCs over. I'm scared CranK's going to keep up on even bases and just be able to remax faster and use splash to his advantage. I think this super late scenario favors Protoss unless Terran goes BC or something else.
