They used to have +damage to Armored and did lackluster damage to everything else. In HoTS they had that bonus damage rolled into their base damage which means they 2 shot Marines instead of 3 shot. | ||

Z/P whiners definitely don't come in with that sort of attitude lol. I'm not saying they don't whine, but they haven't managed to convince themselves that terran players are better just because they play terran. Or whatever their race is | ||

I don't get why Symbol, when floating 3k/1,5k, doesn't drop 2-3 hatches as well as tech up to hive. There is no reason not to, with more larvae he can hold off any 2/2 timing until ultralisks. Did Maru look dominating game 1-2? Symbol's play seems off. | ||

Maru missed the muta tech, lost 20 workers on that first blow, was kept in his base for 2-3 minutes - enough time for symbol to establish all the tech and bases he needed. maru was forced in a delayed midgame, consisting of marine/mine, and so his marauder transition was delayed. ultralisks just don't care about marines. once marauders were out, they had to fight overwhelming numbers of ultra/infestor, once that was dealt with (at the cost of marus kind-of-established fourth base) he saw the broodlord transition via the drop at the third. he was forced to deal with still 8-10 ultralisks (-> more marauders) and knew he could not get up broodlord defense in time. so he gg'ed out. edit: with the addition of macro hatches, symbol could've maybe won in midgame on ling/baneling/muta. but maru has shown damn good micro, so why take the risk? | ||
