Yes, I once played on neo planet S and the zerg was remaxing on only ultras (something like 15 of them) and I split in a way that I had small groups of units at the front and split them to individuals, the ultras AI got them to attack them 1 at a time and I managed to defend with 60 army supply vs ~15 ultras and some lings.
