Welcome to Starcraft~
INnoVation fans seem to have it pretty good. And if I were a KHAN fan, I'd be damn proud of Jangbi
Two OSL wins in a row, just when I started watching BW too. Jangbi is a dragon.
I think he and Bisu are the only dragons left. I haven't heard of anything from the other four.
Kal? Dunno where he is. Stork? Let's not talk about Stork BeSt? Doesn't live up to his name. Free? Not a bad player but I haven't heard of him doing great things recently.

Kal played for AFA, so I guess he's still doing military service? Stork... yeah. BeSt beat Innovation the other day quite convincingly, so there's that. Maybe he'll get back into true form. Free is very mediocre right now with a 54.55% winrate in HotS.

Free does relatively well in SPL, he's the second best dragon in SC2 so far.

Seriously. Boxer did poorly in the first winner league format round as a coach. But today this was not him. He trusted Rain to step it up because Rain has been the best all season.
Yeah honestly. Boxer isn't January who sends out random lower A-team players in important ace matches. Rain was probably one of the best SPL players and choked at a really inopportune time.
He choked at 3 inopportune times this playoffs and 3 times last season!
For those who want to defend Rain, he hasn't won a playoff game in SC2 yet.
3rd most wins in Proleague? Rain is the reason they made it this far.
Most of that came from WOL. And yes he helped out a lot while the rest of the team pretty much was fickle over who would be good or bad. I honestly can't believe SKT even made the playoff with so many weaknesses. But Rain was strong enough to carry us most of the time. But he failed when it matters two years in a row now. SKT has some rebuilding to do.
Seems like Rain kind of needs to get his head back into the game.
Truth be told at least now they have a chance to rest up (SKT that is) and try to be fresh for the next season. Hopefully then they'll be able to really pull it together.
Of course. The rest will be good. Hopefully they can come out strong again
Honestly no team is perfect right? Every team has its ups and downs.
The switch to WOL and then HOTS combined with the loss of experience with OOV and Park as well as the newer coach BoxeR will put a strain on the team.
They seem to have been mucked around quite a lot during the season i guess hey,

Flash had like 3 losses total and an almost perfect record versus Protoss. Bisu may have been good but I'm no fool, Flash was in another league at the end of BW (with Fanta trailing ofc)
At the time of that Final nobody was trailing Flash.

Next year will be the rise of the new dragons Bisu (again) Jangbi (again) Rain sOs Stork (that's right no more 1-11) and BeSt (again)
Fantasy wasn't trailing behind Flash by any stretch of the imagination at the end of BW. He and an OSL gold and 2 silvers in a row and he was destroying Flash in their matchups near the end (4-0 in 2012) and had a better overall record in the last year of BW.
It was only Jangbi that got in the way of Fantasy being the one true dominant player of the last era.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Stork (as much as I LOVE STORK) may or may not have the ability to rise up again. Does Stork have problems with momentum continuously in his career or has he just had a lot on his plate recently?
Who knows though, Stork was able to capture some of his former glory with another OSL silver a few seasons ago, and JB was a back-to-back OSL winner (one of the few in history).

SKT is very good, but there's been a lot of weirdness with the team lately, and STX Soul just came in with some excellent prepared builds and just seemed overall a lot more prepared for the finals.
SKT made it to the playoffs and took it to the ace match in two sets. That's not "not good" that's "something went wrong and they need to figure out what for next season".

Everything in the world is going wrong for T1 since they got their ticket to the playoffs. Everyone is losing. Wtf.
Soo and Best!
Well Soo lost in individual leagues at least.
Surprised that Best can still prove more reliable than Rain in actual matches that count for the team, despite being considered so much weaker these days.
Its almost unfair having Bogus on you team, almost as bad as having Flash in the BW SPL. You basicly had to win 4 of the first 6 matches because Flash had 2 wins almost guaranteed <.<. Oh well, gratz to Bogus and gl to KT/Stars taking him down
Funny thing about Rain is that he won every playoff game including games in two consecutive SPL finals when he only just broke into the A team.
The moment there's been a weight of expectations put on him, he started losing every single one. And it has nothing to do with SC2 transition either, since the last time he lost he was the most dominant kespa player (and even now he's technically the third best player in the league).
