I wouldn't say that he was a failure, I'm pretty sure that he got further than most players close to retirement when he switched. NaDa, YellOw, Reach, Anytime, to name a few players who were basically inactive all did pretty poorly.
Honestly I'd think that Boxer would know what it's like to be a progamer more than any of the other coaches.
I should rephrase my premise, that Boxer doesn't appear to live the out the gruelling pro-gamer anymore. He's married, and has had many professional and business accomplishments in his life. He isn't rising from the ashes anymore, a warrior built out of the struggle. He's just the Emperor with all his countrymen by his side.

Best's win over Innovation was just down to him choosing the single build order that countered Innovation's build. Even then, if Innovation had SCV scouted he would have been fine.

His play was mediocre, he forgot to rebuild his cyber core and ended up with an army made of almost purely zealots and colossus.

BeSt both wins were because his cheeses worked. Until I see solid overall play from him I'm not convinced.
Im so fucking dissapointed in Rain right now! I know he is also but loosing 3 games during playoffs is simply not acceptable. Also Bisu's play was really weak.

Fantasy was the #1 Terran for sure, he looked unstoppable until Jangbang
rain too overhyped. people always say hes really good and shit but he never wins when it matters. skt doesnt have a reliable ace yet. maybe the 3rd installment will change things
