Last DH he was 3rd, now 2nd... So close. Still it was good to see him on finals again.

WCS Korea had a bunch of games where either Innovation or SK pretty much insta-died to the other's push, and WCS Global was a pretty one-sided 4-0 (only game I remember from that one is the last one where sOs tried Tempest/HT, that was cool) By weak I don't mean boring to watch, just gameplaywise

I hate when that happens, i hate spells that prevent micro (forcefields, fungal etc), so the real skill can't show. Ofc pulling of the spells is part of skill and show and game. And i love sc2. But still some days I feel like these tactics have become too common, too easy to pull of, too much abused, too efficient and not enough of showing skill. Tried to play sc2 macrogames with as good as it gets mechanics, scouting etc. And therefore it takes lots of time to actually get high skill with a race. But on the other hand, the ladder pretends to show your skill with ranks and leagues, while there are so simple but effective allin-tactics for each race. Made it to Masters with Toss within 1 week, just with 3 standard tactics (each MU had a different one), when i switched back to my main I was desperate how hard it is to actually get "good"(meaning: respected by reaching a high league, which is the common ritual here "don't post anything before you are in masters league" by playing "honest". Why can a game be easy and hard at the same time. I hate it. And i love it :D

I was going into the final kinda bored since there was no terran, german, foreigner to root for, almost decided to turn off the stream but didnt regret that ive stayed. I was going from indifferent to rooting for stardust so hard on that final match.. so intense!

I haven't seen any with more than 4 bases and steady 20 minutes macro game without BO advantage for one side. And too many mistakes: both strategically and mechanically (mostly at multitasking) wise that I haven't seen when I was following BW. I'd try once more at SPL finals, have they increased the numbers since WoL? I feel like it's hard for new viewers to get interested when they randomly come across Dreamhack broadcast on the Swedish TV with so fast-paced games. Maybe they should have run a basic introduction to the game before the tournament too.

Apollo constantly blabs absolute useless information, when is an even going to pick up Idra for casting, or some other pro player? InControl is by far the best "non-pro" caster out there along with Artosis, but sadly Artosis combos horridly with Apollo because Apollo does nothing but mimic Arotosis the entire time. I actually had to turn off the sound in the finals the casting was so bad... Hey look, here are 105652 people disagreeing with you You post the number of viewers as people who disagree that the casting was sub-par at best...? ok.

I do kinda wish he was back in proleague now just so we'd for sure see more of him on a regular basis.

Other tournaments should take notes, MLG especially. I think DH can actually make it a bit better. Players still look totally clueless as what to do with the cheques, the star plaque and champagne. Maybe we need something like a victory road. The CEO always has to orchestrate it. Maybe he should prep them prior to the finals as to what is going to happen after one of them win. If they prep hollywood pros for that kind of thing, surely should be a requirement for a bunch o nerds What does hollywood pro's have anything to do with this? It's really not that complicated and Life's cockiness is his true downfall. The funny thing is he went more old school than anything else rather than utilizing air units.

Although Jaedong lost the series as much as- if not more than- Stardust won it. honestly I didn't know stardust. But that is because I admire players the most who really wear down opponents: constant harass, expand, outplay, micro on several places at once... I don't know why, i know it is part of the game, but I don't like cheesy/all-in-ish/cheap games. It depends much how u are as a person, where u come from. Playing on EU ladder, i always say "GL & HF" and because there isn't that much to do at the beginning of a game, bsides APM Spamming, I also like to ask "where u from?". Fun fact, every country has a sort of starcraft 2 mentality and therefore tactics. From a psychologic standpoint it is very interesting. Like you get the response " I'm from Italy" or "France" or "russia", and know the race, after several games you can tell what his playstyle will be like :D
