Well TLO spouts PC stuff all the time and shows some emotion now and then.

Honestly ForGG doesn't even deserve ro8, he just isn't of the same caliber of anyone else in ro8.

He got to the semi finals, only winning TvT just being insanely lucky with draws. I know in the past some people got quite far dodging 1 matchup(Naniwa in GSL dodging zergs).
However, ForGG dodged 2 matchups. The only non TvT so far he played he lost, and only got 1 game narrowly, other two matches he got crushed. I really think they need to make regulations for these things to happen less regularely, because this is just completely silly. ForGG doesn't deserve to be here for just being good in 1 matchup, Lucifron deserves to be in this semifinal by a massive margin.

I disagree. ForGG is a top player from Europe. Of course he would go far... You can't say that based on 1 game.

It's not based on 1 game. It's based on 3 games vs Sase, 3 games vs TLO and these two games he just played vs stephano where he still didn't show the skill level of the rest of top 8 in WCS EU

Forgg is really good at TvT. Just because he's not great against zerg and can't split doesn't mean he's not worthy of getting top 8. Plus the competition level of WCS EU is really low. Just look at Stephano's game 1. Even though he won, he played really subpar.

thats because how often do you see terran cheese a zerg? how often do you see a zerg cheese a terran?

That has to be the stupidest reasoning I've heard for hypocrisy.

Nowadays ? Zerg cheese terrans all the time. 11/11 is like something from the past.

That's like a Boxer trying to beat a Sumo Wrestler at his own game. You play to your strength even if it's "cheese". If your opponent can't defend it, that's his problem.

I read this as (T)BoxeR against a Sumo Wrestler...

It still applies though

I didn't like TLO cheesing either, but at least he hasn't made his career around it.

Wat.

Timing attacks != cheese, I recommend you go watch Arena 2008 MSL before making claims like fOrGG making his career around cheese.

There is a big difference between a Zerg and Terran cheese, and this is coming from a Protoss player. The 11/11 is the most powerful one base all-in in any matchup. It has a ridiculously high win rate compared to other one base openings. This is why people hate it, it doesn't show skill.

Despite the fact that Zergs haven't died to a 11/11 since pre-queen patch?

Then why isn't it used more often, I wonder? Perhaps because Zerg has all the tools needed to defend it?

The differences in execution/defence can be quite subtle, but I can assure you they do exist.

Seemed to me like holding the rines and scvs back down the ramp kind of messed up with stephano. He sent all his drones, to the nat, and sent like 5 drones to kill the scv, but then forgg showed up with his "army" and stephano backed off.

2 rax is the most graceful strategy in Starcraft. You could not call yourselft a terran if you haven't done a successful 2rax once in youe life.

Get used to unreasonable TLO bias.

Symbol cheesed because he's an idiot who can't play this game.
TLO cheesed because he's smart and knows that he can't take lucifron in a straight up match.

What

TLO was merely praying to his one true god, Symbol.

Well, in both cases it's boring as hell to watch...

I actually like aggressive gameplans but oh well.....2 rax is 2 rax is 2 rax

the same with protoss cheesing zerg unless its like a cannon rush I never see that, but a 2 base all in I would say the same thing.
