OfficeBrahzz 121 Posts May 14 2013 10:53 GMT #1199 soulkey had so much supply in roach/hydra when the toss was maxed every supply in roach/hydra when the toss is maxed is pretty much dead supply. the units are extremely weak vs anything toss soulkey had about maybe 4000 minerals tied up in static D that really doesnt do anything. that more than makes up for maybe the 2000 mineral lead soulkey had early game so in reality, once parting maxed you had a roach/hydra soulkey VS a protoss deathball max ALSO, soulkey probably had maybe 3queens on inject duty (6food smaller army) and 15 more drones (15 food smaller army). so soulkey had a 21food smaller army PLUS maybe 60food of his army was roach/hydra which is crap dead supply vs toss lategame also add in the fact that soulkeys 2000 mineral early game lead was kinda thrown out by making 4k of static D which the collossi just shoot down as a master zerg, ive found the best way to fight lategame toss is to not go above 60 drones (you have slightly less income, but bigger army) and just have 1-2 extra hatcheries lategame (no need for queens taking up supply not in army) and have massive standing army of swarmhosts + ultralisks + banelings + queens
