In Wings of Liberty obviously infestor/broodlord was next to impossible to beat if you were to enter the lategame on even footing. I had the feeling and a good grasp on the game that I can win against ultralisks, playing well. Now I feel like ultras are smaller and do more damage overall, I cannot beat ultras anymore, because smaller ultras / more damage ultras are better to begin with but also tanks can be rendered useless and ultras don't really care that much about mines. This is in no way a balance whine as HOTS and its builds are not nearly figured out, just the impression I got. I think mines are a great defensive tool at the later stages, but early on not so much because they can be negated by 1 unit (could even send the natural overlord to defuse both with an roach allin). Tanks on the other hand, are very good until vipers are out, so this might be way to go. Well I guess its no use talking and we just have to wait an see what the highest level does with it!  | ||
