It's not, I dare you to try to land perfect forcefields in rapid succession in the middle of a battle without overlapping.

Very, very few players are as quick, accurate and intelligent with them as PartinG is. Yes, spamming forcefields is easy, but against top level competition you need to have perfect forcefields. The way I see it, effectiveness and importance of proper force field placement increases with level of competition.

sHy and Rain were regarded as the next gen bw stars. Bogus was regarded as the next promising terran although he was constantly teared a new one by Fanta/Flash Soulkey/ZerO were the new generation of zergs who didnt do the same exact shit every game. so..mid tier? Far from it.

Actually that isn't quite true for Bogus. He's been around long enough to be called a veteran. He broke out in '09.

The way Protoss is designed i think the race is doomed to recieve more hate than Zerg and Terran. Most of the time Protoss will win a game with a timing attack or because of Forcefields. No, idiots like you just hate on Protoss no matter how they win. His win against Flash on Daybreak got just as much shit and he didn't win with a timing or forcefields. "Unbeatable 1-A deathball" becomes the rallying whine in that case. Forcefields and time warp boring? I beg to differ.

A win is a win, but Forcefield is widely regarded as the most hated and broken ability in the game, and any game that is decided by Forcefields are gonna get a lot of hate. wrong. warpgate mechanic is the most broken ability in the game when it comes to bad game design and protoss in general. forcefield was something that was bitched about when MC was raping JulyZerg waaaaaaay back in the day, since then we came a long way, and most of the people realize the strengths as well as the weaknesses of the spell in question here, and the implications that we'd have by removing it. en tardo adun, whiner

Flash maybe but Life was a very smart vote it just didn't work out for him today. Thats what I'm saying. Life was statistically favored to win this group, and looking at past games, so was Flash (his TvT was stronger than Bogus' and he had the head-to-head ratio in his favor). It wasn't like picking them was some kind of fanboyism, it was the safe pick. Sometimes the safe pick just ends up not being the right one.
