Guide to not embarrass yourselves when winning a Dreamhack event = How to open a champagne bottle
1. Remove the wrapping on the top, revealing the cork. 2.Place your left palm (if right-handed) and grab under the bottle. 3. Shake (if you want it to end up on the floor Robert Ohlen style, otherwise DO NOT) 4. Turn the bottle with your left hand (holding the bottom part) WHILE keeping enough pressure with your right hand on the cork just so that the cork won't turn with the bottle, do not apply more pressure than needed. 5. Success, you are now wasting one of the finer beverages in the world. (Atleast it won't be awkward)
6. Start drinking from the bottle like a fucking boss.

Polt srsly under-performed, and then there's Gumiho. Am i missing anyone?
Kas might be good by EU standards but he played so derpily in the SortOf games. As did SortOf...just not the standard of some of these Koreans, not even close.
not very good terran representation this tournament.
Well most would of predicted ForGG to make it out of his group, Polt as well, Kas to win over SortOf, Thorzain to make it out of his group (little iffy), and Gumiho to defeat JD.
ForGG is not on the same level as Gumiho, MVP, Bomber, Taeja etc. I wouldn't call him a top tier Terran.
Clearly you haven't been watching acer team cup. If you think he deserved to get 3-0'd by TLO, Nerchio, and Sase.....

Code S =/= Best player. Though, I wouldn't say Leenock is close to as good as Life either...

Have you seen Leenock's ZvZ in the tourney? So sick!
I think the best thing about the group of death is Roro must HATE it. Seriously, Leenock is great but Roro might legitimately be the best Zerg right now. Until he is eliminated from GSL that is a fairly reasonable claim. He's still sick good in pro league, and is the defending GSL champion.
any1 saying t need to be buffed is dumb. balance should primarily be centered around highest level of play, and kr terrans are tearing it up over in SK, which is really all that matters. this tourney CANNOT be used as an indication of TvZ/P balance.

No problem, it just means people will keep underestimating him as he rolls over everyone. Life has more visibility because he has been winning international events, but Roro has more success in the toughest arena and he is my pick to take the season.
As a run of the-mill masters terran... terran does NOT need a buff. There simple weren't a lot of good terrans at this tournament. The game seems pretty damn balanced right now, and it makes it so much fun to spectate. So please, do not take your personal ladder grievances and the results of one tournament too seriously. Life is good when you have pretty dominant players from all races at the same time!

You got that DeMuslim guy, Oh wait ...
I mean tournaments/events.
Not players.
UK could be acceptable, I guess. But now that you mention it, you are pretty underdeveloped in terms of major events. Even Romania beats you.
Nope, I-series is much bigger than any even most countries have, but people just don't tune in
The problem with I-Series is that it's in a location which is incredibly shitty for most people to get to. Even as a northerner London would be much better for me because at least you can just get one train from basically any major city.
The other issue is that the organisers dont seem to be interested in growing it much past the byoc with a few pro's stage.
There are a lot of people living in the London area and a lot of very busy barcrafts up and down the country. I've no doubt we could fill a venue better than Sweden does if we had a Dreamhack: London, but it's not going to happen for Crank vs Johnny Recco in Telford.

It was cute that he had absolutely no idea what he was doing, but come on... at least put your thumb over the top when you shake it, has he never used a hose?
Wow, PvZ is such a great match-up to watch right now -- if both forge-first and gateway expands, as well as the various zerg openers, stay viable in the metagame there's so much that can happen in any given game. For instance, the double-evo melee/armor upgrade could also transition into spire play, or perhaps could be used as a head-fake to do the missile upgrades into a late roach/hydra or swarm host play. And on the Protoss side it seems equally complex -- Nani's warp prism play was excellent, and lots of opportunities to force lings early and then take a third and play for the long game, or make the sky-toss switch, etc.
I feel like the TvP & vZ matchups are quite stale by comparison, and generally are dominated by the need for P & Z to tech into splash-damage dealers to handle marines.
