Do you think a WoL style +1+1 roach timing would work good? Then transition into muta-ling-bling, but keeping some roaches with it as well. When playing zerg I really like it because it denies the third for a long time and gives total map control.


I think you are talking about +1/+1 carapace and melee, even though you talk about roaches (because your plan is not sticking with them anyways?) In any case, I think roach/bane can be a good composition, but its expensive compared to ling/bane to begin with. I am not a Zerg player and probably cannot argue on the level of Flash, but in my opinion you could also deflect the attack with roach/bane and have a potentially counter to win, but that would make the strategy very volatile and in my opinion could lead to being forced to allin.

Would need to see how it playes out :-) but certainly possible if I think about it.
