I know it's a tough feeling just seeing him lose, but he pulled off 2 wins against the top ranked WJS last week. Players have good games and good days, and bad games and bad days

There is no way that jaehoon would not have scouted that. It's crossmap and stargate openers are common. Plus, if jaedong was planning a timing attack with the high resource yield of that third, the window of opportunity is very small. Miss that window, and his third is gone and he'd probably lose the game.

Not entirely sure what went wrong in that game for JD. I mean he took damage from Phoenixes but did he really take that much damage? It looked to be twice as many stalkers as hydras from the 10 minute point and forward.
I guess Argo just retained to much of his army all the time, never lost a big chunk at any point of the game.
PS. Am I the only one that for some retarded reason get cartoon network commercial over and over again while watching SPL? If there wasnt a mute function I think I would have to close down the stream.

TRUE has good ZvP good thing he's playing ALBM T_T ALBM looked strong in code A qualifiers vs P, I think he will win. Not looking good for EG-TL. true. he did beat herO and Brown which is probably more impressive than beating JYP atm

Argo was only on gateways. 2 base mass blink stalkers eventually beats 2 base hydras. Strange, but true. Yeah I feel like 2 base openings still don't work against Protoss (unless they go one base for some reason) simply because of the forcefield and lack of cost efficient units for Zerg in the early game. I've been analyzing a lot of replays recently and even the games where it looks like the Zerg absolutely annihilates the Protoss, the units lost tab (when looking at resources) is very similar between Zerg and Protoss. This is why you have to be a healthy base ahead of a Protoss at all times or you just can't take a fight until you have Mutas all over the place or a late game army.
The only good 2 base ZvP build is double evo into infestor ling. The rest is just funny all-ins.

I think Argo was able to get so many stalkers because he never went for a 3rd, nor AOE tech

Just tuned in and down 0-2, this doesn't look good :[ I think Alive and Oz can possibly win, but I don't know if JYP and Zenio can keep EGTL in it :[

Taking a risky 3rd on a map that is impossible for Protoss to take a 3rd on is pretty hilarious. Forcing him to all in you when you can't defend is a brilliant strat.

Again, it seems to me like he had a build planned just banking on the toss going FFE, which would delay any push/scouting enough that he could have the middle established. I don't really find it far fetched that with speed he could deny scouting for a good while. Still find it a bit of a silly risk to take, esp. when he scouted the gateway expand.

He took huge damage from the phoenixes, around 20 drones + queens and loads of reinforcements aswell, that's the reason he lost. It was a huge risk with a small reward aswell. Like someone said, the timing window to benefit from increased mineral income is really small. I guess he thought he had no chance in straight up so he tried this.

Looking at the replay. Just from the artifact design you die to stargate opening on this map*. Just something he must not have seen in practice.
Then again he took silly damage form the phoenix.

He is a beast vs Zerg and we have no clue about his ZvT right now because he hasn't gotten one yet (we can assume it is not great). Overall he seems like a weak player, its too bad Stephano had to go . Players who have a strong skill base but lack refinement are the worst players to bench. I mean, look at Rain. Back in Brood War a ton of people were calling for him to stop playing after he had a really long loss streak because he didn't know how to end a game. He's one of the best players around now.

I just don't think Alive loses to TY it just doesn't happen, well I am crossing my fingers. Admittedly TY's TvT is decent and rivals Alive's TvT - wouldn't call him a specialist though. I could be wrong but Alive can beat TY. Please don't 0-4 fight on guys!

It's time for Alive to go make that miracle for coach Park.

I doubt pros would just right click the pnix into his opponent's base, but rather set some rally points. Jeahoon would probably be like, in what world do you take that center gold, and rallying his unit to check other locations. JD knows that mentality and exploits on that. Risky, I know. And it doesnt pay off

People aren't ever confident in JYP. He was one of their top 3 performers during WoL in Proleague. His winrate is better than HerO's. Go back and look at his victories in Proleague and you will be really surprised.
