Congrats to Feast and Bunny on their WCS spots today.

Well korea is more into lol these days and europe has a huge audience for sc2 so i think its only fair if that money that foreign viewers generate through ad revenue goes back to developing the european scene instead of the korean scene just taking over

Finally my Mech strategy from the BETA is displayed from a real Pro player and even beat a Korean!!! I hope this guy keep practicing real hard and show the world TvP Mech is totally possible and viable. Now go and show there is lot of Skill in Europe. GG Bunny, you got me as fan from now! You invented hellbat+tank? Yes.I try to play tank based Mech from WoL,but was unable to make it work due to the lack of buffer like the Hellbats and the lack of good harass(BFH are OK,but you need to send 8-10 of them to do damage) in the mech TvP.Everyone was telling me its stupid and NOT viable.HTOMario and Lyyna were playing Thor/hellbat/banshee/BC mech and its pretty succesfull, but not tank based as all BW fans like. The moment the Hellbat appeared and the drops became so OP,the Mech suddenly arrose. Now its our time hehe.GG Bunny and thank you. P.D.HTOMario began using hellbat/tank short after the HotS release as well I'm sure he went through your replays and looked through your exact builds. You should tell him he has to give you a shoutout or you will sue him for patent infringement.
Ha ha ha Sooo funny!
Nothing like this.Demuslim tried this combo in the BETA when the MEdivac could carry 4 Hellbats, but you will never see him playing mech vs Protoss anymore. I am not saying they steal build or went through my replays.Sitll very nice to discover, Pro players are now using BO and units, nobody is using in any tournament arroud the world.Still nothing of this is seen in the GSL.Strelok and Beastyqt as well as Goody, play this, but its not their main strategy in TvP from WoL,except for Goody.I was trying this from WoL and the BETA and can provide replays.I can prove this.Everybody was saying this only works because you are in diamond bla,bla,bla... I hope Bunny keep doing this strategy and show the Pros how to play Mech.Still wann see him facing Sky toss in late game and deal with the TEmpest/Void Ray/Carrier/HT combo I face in my games. Its just funny to discover Pros using the build you spent so much time working on it...

yeah fuck all the new players who want to make a name for themselves...The system isn't bad just because a player you like didn't qualify. 24 out of 32 players being invites is a lot anyway. They can make a name for themselves by working through Code B and Code A. I think personally that the last 3 years of Sc2 should count for more in establishing this new league (which will be basically all that matters in Sc2 soon) than how you played in one online qualifier. In fact it's absolutely absurd to me that it doesn't. That is ONE tournament that is insanely stacked. Korea really has needed more outlets outside of the weeklies for their B-teamers and up and coming talent. The lack of such alternatives is why Finale and his ilk are playing in EU in the first place Korea could use a Code C and D even if it were online and community casted. Isn't the lack of a Korean community to do that part of the problem?
There are more SC2 progamers than there are money for in Korea, as far as I can tell. There are easily more pro's than in EU and US combined. That is a big part of what makes them better than the rest. The Korean scene has to readjust to a new reality of SC not being as popular as it used to in Korea.

A cinderella story to me is bigger than just winning a qualifier. If Bunny makes a deep run in WCS thats a cinderella story. Scarlett and Thorzain are good examples of cinderella stories imo. Generally yes, depends on how big the tournament is though. And Scarlett was considered a cinderella story with less results.^^

I wonder if we will see a hellbat nerf soon. The reason for this is because in EU, TvT is about hellbat fights. And we know blizzard doesn't like that. I like my hellbats, but I think they will get nerfed very soon

If it's BS then why weren't these foreigners that were beating Koreans ever doing well in GSL? The fact is with perfect conditions for both sides Korea has dominated ridiculously hard. A huge amount of foreigner > Korean wins come from online events with lag and played at very bad times and events that Koreans arrive at the day of or 1 day before and have a huge time difference.

Starcraft 2. Random people take games off pro's all the time. This isn't tennis. There is a lot of bitterness in your posts. When you've watched Sc2 from the start you learn a bit of perspective. The game has always been extremely random/unpredictable (much to it's detriment) and you can't read anything into isolated best of 3's or the results of one online qualifier. This isn't a good example of unpredictability though when ping and play times are such a huge influence.
But hey, its what Finale and the other Koreans chose to qualify for. They should be grateful that they even have this option.

Asian countries tend to have a bit of a 'you either win or you're nothing' kind of attitude, couple that with the fact that this community has an extreme case of that attitude and you can see why no one really cares about putting on tournaments for B Team Koreans.
