Lol they are greedy because they want the money distribution to be based on skill rather than where they live? Hell it's not even where they live it's what they look like/the language they speak actually. If there was a European who had been living in Korea for the last few years and tried to play in this they would be rooted for a bunch.

Starcraft 2. Random people take games off pro's all the time. This isn't tennis.
I'm not even sure you'd call it talent, nevermind incredible talent.

yeah fuck all the new players who want to make a name for themselves...The system isn't bad just because a player you like didn't qualify. 24 out of 32 players being invites is a lot anyway. They can make a name for themselves by working through Code B and Code A. I think personally that the last 3 years of Sc2 should count for more in establishing this new league (which will be basically all that matters in Sc2 soon) than how you played in one online qualifier. In fact it's absolutely absurd to me that it doesn't. That is ONE tournament that is insanely stacked. Korea really has needed more outlets outside of the weeklies for their B-teamers and up and coming talent. The lack of such alternatives is why Finale and his ilk are playing in EU in the first place

Well I got np if he moved to Europe because that will grow a scene. I think most of you fail to realise what WCS is all about. But having professional players from Korea that cant hang with the best and then chose to go for the easy money grab its disgusting. If he cant make money in Korea will then he can get a job like most of the European pro-gamers.
Anyway I'm tired of this discussion. Gz to Bunny and Feast

You can say that about 95% of the foreign pro-gamer and you know what they do? they get a job or go to school. And that's why WCS EU is so important for the EU scene if we can get just 10% more full time pro-gamers the scene will start to grow much faster

When you've watched Sc2 from the start you learn a bit of perspective. The game has always been extremely random/unpredictable (much to it's detriment) and you can't read anything into isolated best of 3's or the results of one online qualifier.

A cinderella story to me is bigger than just winning a qualifier. If Bunny makes a deep run in WCS thats a cinderella story. Scarlett and Thorzain are good examples of cinderella stories imo.

Korea could use a Code C and D even if it were online and community casted.
