So a cinderella story happens every single Code A qualifier?

No because they are already pro-gamers. Bunny is not. He is a just an amateur kid with apparently an incredible talent. This is how amateurs becomes professional. And its exactly how Blizzard intended WCS for

Happy used to have an 80% win on EU ladder. No one would call him incredibly talented.

I would. He was extraordinary in WC3.

People used to gush on and on about Happy all the time and post that marine split video every chance they got

And how wrong they were. Remember the days when people used to talk about Happy and Kas as Code S level players?

Even if he doesnt get a salary he is still a pro-gamer. If salary is the definition of pro-gamer than there are bunch of Korean amateurs in GSL.

Your ability in Wc3 seems to me to mean almost nothing about how good you'll be at Sc2.

He's still a pretty talented player by most metrics. Koreans are better but there are still bloody good Starcraft players outside of there

80% winrate, and you call that bad? The top #1 ranked player right now only has a 72.48% win rate.

Someone who do it full time and can make a living doing it. Bunny most likely go to school or got a job. So no he is not a pro-gamer. He is what we in sport calls an amateur player. And is these talented amateur players WCS was made to promote and it already working. Now he can start making money for himself in code S. Who knows Maybe Bunny decide to go full time professional. So you could say the WCS EU is already a success.

Happy used to have an 80% win on EU ladder. No one would call him incredibly talented.

I would. He was extraordinary in WC3.

Your ability in Wc3 seems to me to mean almost nothing about how good you'll be at Sc2.

No, I agree. But he has a big talent for RTS at least, though SC2 may not be the best place to express it. His extreme stubbornness of always doing one build, opening cloaked banshees for instance, was much more suited for WC3.

Talent is imo a relatively minor part of how good you are Sc2 compared to traditional sports. Sc2 ability is mostly time spent, enviroment in which you spend your time and as a distant third factor talent.

This isn't balance this is 600 ping

where you find 600 ? i have like 240 in korea or 220 ... still shit but its easy playable, why you think its 600 ?

So a cinderella story happens every single Code A qualifier?

No because they are already pro-gamers. Bunny is not. He is a just an amateur kid with apparently an incredible talent. This is how amateurs becomes professional. And its exactly how Blizzard intended WCS for

People used to gush on and on about Happy all the time and post that marine split video every chance they got

And how wrong they were. Remember the days when people used to talk about Happy and Kas as Code S level players?

Aeroplaneoverthesea I see you still shitting on foreign players you been doing that for so long that I should be getting used to it by now. Anyway Mr Korean brown-nose you must be having a bad day ?

80% winrate, and you call that bad? The top #1 ranked player right now only has a 72.48% win rate.

My point was ladder win rates don't translate to results when it matters because loads of players have been or are good on ladder (especially Terran's) but don't and never have done it in tournaments.

LOLOLOLOL!!!

Finally my Mech strategy from the BETA is displayed from a real Pro player and even beat a Korean!!! I hope this guy keep practicing real hard and show the world TvP Mech is totally possible and viable. Now go and show there is lot of Skill in Europe. GG Bunny, you got me as fan from now!

You invented hellbat+tank?

Yes.I try to play tank based Mech from WoL,but was unable to make it work due to the lack of buffer like the Hellbats and the lack of good harass(BFH are OK,but you need to send 8-10 of them to do damage) in the mech TvP.Everyone was telling me its stupid and NOT viable.HTOMario and Lyyna were playing Thor/hellbat/banshee/BC mech and its pretty succesfull, but not tank based as all BW fans like. The moment the Hellbat appeared and the drops became so OP,the Mech suddenly arrose. Now its our time hehe.GG Bunny and thank you.

P.D.HTOMario began using hellbat/tank short after the HotS release as well

I'm sure he went through your replays and looked through your exact builds. You should tell him he has to give you a shoutout or you will sue him for patent infringement.

Ha ha ha Sooo funny!

Nothing like this.Demuslim tried this combo in the BETA when the MEdivac could carry 4 Hellbats, but you will never see him playing mech vs Protoss anymore. I am not saying they steal build or went through my replays.Sitll very nice to discover, Pro players are now using BO and units, nobody is using in any tournament arroud the world.Still nothing of this is seen in the GSL.Strelok and Beastyqt as well as Goody, play this, but its not their main strategy in TvP from WoL,except for Goody.I was trying this from WoL and the BETA and can provide replays.I can prove this.Everybody was saying this only works because you are in diamond bla,bla,bla...
I hope Bunny keep doing this strategy and show the Pros how to play Mech.Still wann see him facing Sky toss in late game and deal with the TEmpest/Void Ray/Carrier/HT combo I face in my games. Its just funny to discover Pros using the build you spent so much time working on it...

dude, you are so delusional, it hurts my brain.
i tell you to come to sarn and here you are

I actually don't think Finale or Tails should even be allowed to play in this qualifier and neither should non residential Koreans be allowed to play on NA.
