It asks mech player for micro, they need to spread their tanks. It was necessary, mech in WoL was just about having a stupid mechball. Now it's true positionnal play. You need a good position + spreaded army to be efficient with mech. | ||

Insoleet you can't ask mech players to micro, because there is very little room to micro them, the tank play is entirely based on positional play, not micro. | ||

We havent even seem korean terrans use mech yet. Theres so much room for improvement yet to be discovered. Also, using your vikings to kill vipers before they cast their cloud is a smart move instead of just let them sitting there. | ||

It also requires patient, systematic pushing which Heromarine didn't show in that game. You need to be aware exactly of what your enemy can throw at you and be able to react. One way might have been missile turrets or just a few vikings to deter the Vipers. There are a lot of things that HeroMarine could have done better and I think its presumptuous to say that HOTS has killed TvZ mech. I just think Terrans need to tailor their composition and troop movement to better suit the new Zerg options. | ||
