nooo why does heromarine take that engagement..... rather go doom drop, the zerg army is way too slow for speedivacs.... he needed to buy time :/

jonnyrecco is doing so well because he dares to go wol style and somehow doesnt die on the way to it.

Absolutely, when you take an advantage against a Zerg, but don't follow it up with aggression, you're generally going to have a bad time. Especially when you let your opponent systematically setup an engage when you're sitting on their side of the map.

Edit: This is far from over of course, but I feel like HeroMarine is powering hellbats a bit too hard.

Johnnyreco has really picked up the slack. Taking total control of the map. Should be an easy win from here, he's completely denied Heromarine's macro.

He was never behind.
He banked so much resources that 50 supply got filled in the minute before the attack hit.
What is really surprising that he somehow managed to lose first game to mech.

It came too late for a start, he had a huge window before that. But also he engaged somewhere which made it easy to blinding cloud his tanks out of the fight.

Among other things, he clumped 4 siege tanks (on creep) and let them easily get disabled. SC2 terrans are going to have to start taking a page out of the SC1 playbook and spread their tanks out more efficiently. His engage route as well was kind of silly. He pushed himself a little too far forward without first securing his position.

Also, that was an odd tech switch. I know he was going sky terran, but opting for 90% viking and only a few ravens against ultras and hydras was questionable.
