Agreed. One turret (or at most, two) protect the mineral line just fine.

If a protoss can get 5 oracles you can surely afford fucking turrets. nono terrans cant they just let 10 marines in every mineral line and then cry that oracles are imba!

In any case, watching MC play is refreshing compared to all other players. He always get new builds, that eventually get dissected, but he always get there faster theory-wise.

Don't force macro. It will happen when two skilled players are unable to gain an early edge on the other naturally.

Story of HotS: Nobody building automated defense, everyone losing to HotS units and abilities.
It's not Wings anymore. HotS is much more aggressive and entertaining to watch. And I'm loving every second of it.
