How many seconds does an infestor need to be able to cast another fungle ?
How many seconds does a muta need to recover its 40 damages ?

I think this has a huge influence on the viability of infestors in ZvZ.


Energy regeneration is 0.5625 per second and a fungal needs 75energy and does 30damage.
Muta health regeneration is 1 per second.

So healing up works out extremly well for mutalisks. In the time an infestor regenerates 1fungal worth of energy every mutalisk could theoretically regenerate 133.3 HP.

I think it is clear to everyone that damaging mutas isn't wort anything. Kill them or they'll be full health in the next fight.

Well, that's huge.

You absolutely need to kill some muta when you manage to fungle some of them, are it's bad news for long term play.

Vortix is fucked. The whole point of this was just to delay his 3rd while Sting expanded and not even to kill him. Sting got a lot more out of that than he should have. Why is nobody building spines/spores vs this composition? None of these units can kill them well.

Zergs should realize its not WoL anymore and they have to build units which counters the enemies units. You cant hold everything with 3-4 queens and lings. They are not even building spine crawler ffs.

Im a zerg and actually have no trouble with high master hots TvZ. But these koreans man...

The problem is if you go roaches you are still a base behind of the terran and can't put any pressure on due to mines and banshees. I don't see how to stay even or ahead at the moment vs this kind of mine hellion pressure. I mean in best case you defended perfectly with like 5 roaches and are even in eco. While in WoL you were 1 base ahead of the terran and had the map control.

Hopefully voilet or TLO will show whats up!

Well. They send a drone there and it dies. They look over and realize their expansion never went down, then they need to morph/move an overseer over there and some units and then expand. It certainly delays it much longer.
