My point was that was a terrible game from vortix. He had the roach warren down for like 1 minute or something before he actually made roaches, and that was after his roach warren was late and without a spine. He got caught offguard even though he scouted what Sting was doing, so Vortix didnt seem to just know what he was doing or just had a huge brain fart.

But i cant imagine will go well. Zerg right now has so many weaknesses and time windows you can take massive advantage of. And the new terran mech is brutal, even me as a maybe plat to diamond skilled terra can use this composition very easy and with good success. At least its much more easy to use then a bio force.

He is still behind 1 base and has no mapcontrol. This disadvantage is MUCH more severe than WoL standarts and I don't see that any zerg could overcome that gap. But maybe anyone can enlighten me? Cause I don't see how zerg could come out ahead even if he countered perfectly!

Not expecting too much from Stephano on HotS, but I have no idea how much he's been playing it.

Cause I don't see how zerg could come out ahead even if he countered perfectly! more queens and lings, earlier third. People fall in the trap of trying to counter units this early in the metagame. Instead they should counter gameplay. There is no reason why VortiX should go for 2base speedroaches that early over taking a third and just throwing as much mineralstuff as possible at his opponent. At least not in a macrogame.

Bravo. 2011 statistics were not prove Terran was dominating back then either, funny how any suporter of any race is just the same.

He'll probably do something cute but ineffective and die to straight-up play.

TLO was one of the most active HOTS streamers towards the end at least.

Bravo. What do you mean? I think everyone agrees in this thread that zergs were favoured against terran the last year. However, this is a new game with new balance and I don't think its fair to say all zergs are noobs and deserve to get slaughtert by 10 minute pressure builds with 3 cc against 2 hatch and 4 queens. How is the balance of the past even a matter in this discussion?
