VortiX probably has the best foreign ZvZ at the moment (at least in WoL) and he already excels at mutalisk play in ZvZ, so HotS might be good for him, too. On the other hand his ZvP was always relatively weak compared to his other matchups and he hasn't practiced HotS much at all, just like Snute and maybe MaNa. Socke can be great but is the most inconsistent player in the group, since MaNa is consistently bad at ZvP while Socke had his very good moments. My money is still on VortiX, actually it isn't on anyone since the group is very hard to predict, but if I had to bet, I'd probably pick VortiX. Socke inconsistent ? He is probably the most consistent . No, not really.

Sting being afraid of everyone. :D

But i cant imagine will go well. Zerg right now has so many weaknesses and time windows you can take massive advantage of. And the new terran mech is brutal, even me as a maybe plat to diamond skilled terra can use this composition very easy and with good success. At least its much more easy to use then a bio force. Not expecting too much from Stephano on HotS, but I have no idea how much he's been playing it. How about TLO ? well like ret, he's been playing a lot of HotS, so he should go okay...but then again it's a tough group
I agree... it'll definitely come down to whether or not TLO's lengthy experience with HotS (compared to his opponents) will be enough to make up for the fact that he'd normally get crushed in that kind of group (Koreans and stronger foreigners).

It's more of a mindgame thing probably at this point. All of the zerg expect terran to use their new powerhouse stuff. well, that's would be one hell of a stupid mindgame. Well if I read what he means correctly, he's more saying that things such as the new reaper and WM do have effect on how your opponent plays, since while he might not scout it, he has to make sure he isn't going to get caught with his pants down if the opponent is doing it.
But tbh vortix just seemed to underperform pretty hard, this is especially with the rines where you need a couple of blings since else you will just have your opponent walk into your base like sting did. spines and queens have never defended heavy rine attacks like that on their own.

Stephano has streamed quite a bit of HotS. I think new possibilities for midgame are just going to make him stronger.

Early terran pressure is very strong and much more varied however there is no way to say it is imbalanced at this point, the game is too new and not enough games have been played.
The way vortix defended was just incorrect, the heavy queen playstyle should filter out in favour of roach defence.

Sting is 2-2 now not 1-2, VortiX is now 0-4
Also I wonder why you differentiate between losing 0-2 and 1-2, but not between winning 2-0 and 2-1.
Ah I guess cause it's about map wins and winning always means 2 there? Fair enough in that case ^^

It's hilarious that this HoTS LR is graveyard for terrans balance whining about the state of TvZ in WoL ^^

But how? Dont you know that building a roach warren before 3 bases and 60 drones means you're all in?!?!?
