Better wait till the final day before making claims about viewer numbers, it's Wednesday, of course it's not going to be pulling in 100k.

dutch protosses love PvP it seems.
also Rachel's smile is so obviously fake, she clearly couldn't care less about this event lol.

The way vortix defended was just incorrect, the heavy queen playstyle should filter out in favour of roach defence.
It's too soon to talk about balance, but nevertheless being force to go blindly into one particular tech path (roach, without being able to pressure with it) because of all the new threat does not make the game particulary interesting to be honest, if ling opening are no longer an option (or a very risky one) you limit the option which makes more boring game. That's why ZvP seems to be more fun right now, ling hydra/roach hydra/Mutalisk/swarmhost are all possible, and for protoss all tech route are viable so there is way more diversity.
But dear god, as a Zerg I'm so scared to see MechVP tomorrow. :D

btw the Socke/Mana game is extremely irrelevant for the group outcome

IEM never had amazing SC2 viewership. Wait for an MLG or something.

Ret played really good with swarmhosts in zvp as he always does. So check his games from yesterday against MC, if you want to see good swarmhosts usage in zvt I recommend Vibe against Illusion from yesterday at MLG Showdowns.

I don't think you have to blindly go into any path, scouting options do exist.
But I think the more robust defence is to go with roaches rather than queens

Yeah between the weird hours and the relatively small amount of hype and the fact that it's a weekday I wouldn't start riding the "hots is dead" train until at least MLG.

Yesterday SC2 had about 33% of LOL viewers. Today it was 25% and finally slightly below 20%. I did not expect such low numbers for first HOTS tournament while beta is even closed.
