We have to go by something, and Proleague is a good way to judge current form. The best players all play on a weekly basis against (sometimes) top opponents. It may be that every Proleague match isn't as good as your average GSL match, but the ace matches in Proleague and some of the match-ups are tough as shit, no question about it.

Even in his prime, MC's strength relied on his strong 2base all ins - which Zergs have pretty much learned to deal with completely. That being said, I'm definitely rooting for MC. You must be kidding. MC can make tons of strats work. Have you seen his games recently ? He played such a solid late game with skytoss. He wouldn't have that much prize and wouldn't be winning even now if it was not able to win with any streategy. He's always underestimate really. Now that said, he's also often disappointing, but that's because he's so good in other moments. No one ever knows whether MC is gonna win or not, but if his boss toss switch is on, he's unbeatable. And this happens usually when he's underrated, so I gotta hope guys like you can keep on bashing him.

Don't bother replaying about total irrelevant team league nonsense before that, or his ladder games etc etc. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/IPL_Team_Arena_Challenge/3 This. I cannot overstate how absolutely dominant Taeja was in team leagues (and please don't downplay 7-killing Incredible Miracle like it's something you could do every other day. It was absolutely insane and he went 23-3 over the course of the tournament, where the second best player was 12-3. Another thing to note is the fact that he pretty much owned 3 weekend tournaments in a little less than three months, going up against (although not as tough as some other tournaments) top players, while simultaneously reaching consecutive quarterfinals. He got stomped by Life in the Season 4 (just over 5 months ago) semis and then crashed out in Season 5. So, essentially, you mean to say that Taeja's results are actually better in the last 6 months (we're not just talking GSL here, but in general) than before that point? Come on.
