I have no memory whatsoever of Protoss players saying that - EVER -_-

At least protosses dominated WCS: WCS South Korea (1st,2nd,3rd)/Asia(1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th)/WC(1st,2nd,3rd)

They should claim best HoTS players while they have the chance

Look at the zerg names, most of the good zergs are still busy with WoL because they haven't been eliminated yet.

DRG was in the tournament but he didnt make the ro32

no, MC is an underdog because he's just plain worse. Even in his prime, MC's strength relied on his strong 2base all ins - which Zergs have pretty much learned to deal with completely.

That being said, I'm definitely rooting for MC.

Past accomplishments don't mean squat because they're just that, in the past. Prize money matters even less. I don't think he's the underdog, and if he is that would be because RorO beat him last time.

I haven't been one to root for Zergs(unless I am fan of the player), but I found myself cheering for Symbol and Curious this week.
Glad they both made it through.

Poor PartinG. Was it luck, was it meta-game, or was it just him being dumb, his builds were pretty bad this time. Maybe Squirtle not being on his team anymore is not helping. On the other hand, Curious play was flawless. Very happy he gets a good run in GSL finally ! All protoss hope is now on MC. He's the president after all :D

That would be a good counterexample, yes.

I did say "most" tho, and DRG is technically still in WoL because of his code A match, so I didn't lose :p

Pretty sure he's the underdog because all of the above happened over a year ago.

Plus the fact that he has looked extremely sloppy on his way to this quarterfinal... I don't think anyone even expected him to make it this far.

but he looked like a champion in his ro32 group.

RorO's been absolutely dominating in Proleague though.

Hmm to say that Taeja's GSL results are better in the last six months than previous to that is trolling? To say that some trivial team games are a barometer of success isn't trolling?

Please elaborate.

except against Reigning World Champion Bear. Bear deserves a Code S seed. 100% career win rate. world champion. Guy is unstoppable. STX SouL feels bad using him so he's not even in the lineup this week

Proleague isn't really anything to go by... Weird maps, Bo1, specific strategies, and much lower caliber of play.

By my totally subjective standards :
- Parting
- MC
- Rain

(I'd like to put in Creator, the kid is a monster, but he never goes far except for WCS Asia...)

By my totally subjective statistics
PartinG
Rain
HerO

http://aligulac.com/periods/79/?page=1&sort=&race=p&nats=all

Well, that's unfortunate, because as much as I'd really really like to support your statistics (and I really want to, I am more or less a statistician myself, so strange to criticize my own job) and as much as I like Aligulac's job, either :
- His TrueSkill model is a bit flawed
- His assumptions are too simplistic

I know that I am going to provide a less-than-idel argument, but look at Titan, ranked 11th Protoss in the world. Then look at his recent results. Only wins are against no-name (no offense) Dana and Nomatch. He is 9-26 in his recent matches...

i don't see the need for elaboration. He identified you as a troll and asked you to stop. His post was clear and complete.
