Drop defense against a player like Innovation is not easy, even the best zerg players will have 'lapses'. Normally this doesn't lose you the game, except if you for some reason send 4 infestors there, that's such a big mistake that you deserve to lose the game.

Those guys are used to micromanage everything and now they suddenly have a lot of free apm from vastly easier base management and macro mechanics, so they have a ton more time to control their drops and harass. This has always been a common expectation about KeSPA player, but so far it just isn't true. Most top KeSPA terrans have goodmultitasking, with the usual amount of silly mistakes and distractions. Certainly nothing otherwordly or never-seen before. That might be partly due to the much higher relative dps in SC2: while it's true that basic mechanical tasks are less expensive apm-wise, battles tend to resolve faster and require a faster response.

That's a very good way to put it. That's my opinion as well. SC2 may be doesn't require as much systematic clicks and keystrokes as SC1, but I'm convinced that to play on 3 fronts, it requires a higher reaction time. For one, fungal growth doesn't exist in SC1, and is pretty fatal if you look away for like 2 seconds.

That is true, Sc2 will punish you more per unit of time compared to bw. I have not really thought all that much about it, but very nicely put.

He lost last season in the Ro32 pretty badly, any TaeJa fan wants to forget that... But before that he was 3 time in the Ro8 in a row.

And huge thanks to Shellshock1122 for more LR greatness -- I travel an hour by subway to work in the morning so I can never watch the final match. Your LR updates/play-by-play are so well done that I find myself just as excited as if I were watching the game live...maybe even more so considering the slight delay between posts (builds suspense XD).

Lol, I completely missed that season because of work, didn't see a single game. Now I always forget it existed.

Yes, exept maybe the first series between Bomber and DRG (Because DRG just played too strong for Bomber). But TaeJa-INnoVation and TaeJa-DRG were really good series. DRG-INnoVation and TaeJa-Bomber were also really good but not as close.
