Wow this is ridiculous. It makes me wonder how Tosses have ever won on this map. The distance for the defender to travel to cover the natural and third is ridiculous compared too that of the attacker. I don't see how 12 minute roach max can lose...

I would say Bong has had the superior multitasking. Trying to defend two fronts from a maxed roach army is way more difficult on the toss and he has been doing remarkably well(despite losing)

Seriously, ignoring that he hasn't made more(against all roach...), if he just brought the VR home this game is over about 10 minutes ago.
Or if he you know, killed the hatch instead of running his dt's away from it into hyvaa's main, and then having 4 zealouts focus drones instead of the 200hp hatch, etc.
Basically, Bong playing fairly bad which is why this actually pretty retarded strategy that was initially defended against is still surviving(winning?).
Edit: WTF is with that indecision after killing the 4th... Bong literally sat his army around for like a full minute watching the zerg army come to kill him. This is some of the worst play I've seen in proleague this season.

Guys, give him a break. I doubt most could've defended as long as he did and multitasked as well. Ya, he made mistakes, got his nexi snipped and made some bad decisions but his defensive against the crazy constant roaches attack wasn't too bad imo

His macro was pretty good and I think he would've won earlier if he didn't overcommit against that first BL. He got effort though with that drop by pulling his infestors away then some BLs etc...

I don't know if it's just me but the person with the accent... their casting seems a bit forced somehow. As if they don't want to be there or something I don't know... it just sounds off. I can't quite pinpoint it.

I've been saying this since Hybrid Proleague. They were playing both games at the same time yet in one game they used 6 army hotkeys and in another just one. You'd think it'd be a habit that's tough to break. Having multiple hot keys for your army is still better than having just one, but for some reason they've forgotten it T_T

And yeah engagements were abysmal. No pre-splitting, no arranging marauders in front of marines, one-click siege lines.. =/ But it is still a vast improvement on how he was playing before this round.

Besides not liking forcefields the way they are designed myself, how is any of your suggestions helping Protoss in an actual battle? As unhappy as I am admitting, but Protoss needs forcefields. I think they are overpowered / flawed if used correctly, but without them Protoss often time gets crushed.

Well, gateway units are actually competitive with marines in the early early game (terrans need to build bunker(s) to survive. The weakness of protoss gateway is for the period when medivacs, stim, combat shields is out and minimal Protoss AoE. So the buff has to be only for this time period. Or else, if you buff them from the start, early aggression of protoss would be too strong (4 gates, 7 gates, etc). And if their buffs last after AoE is out, then mass Colo+gateaway might be too strong.

well i am no game designer but i think it would be possible without being able to warpin at the enemies base till somewhat in the game it should make this doable i think. but whatever lets watch some proleague
