Can you explain the Sniper hate for me? I've been severely out of the loop for a while ;_;

Plus, he all killed Slayers in their final match as a team and Eve cried after he destroyed her. Then he said in an interview after beating Ryung that all terrans were shameless or something and just complain which angered some people. Turns out he was joking but people just assumed he was serious. Idk. I think part of it is people just want there to be a villain. There has to be someone and he just happens to be fitting the profile lately. Just think about it. We had Bitbybit. We had TheBest. We had Puma. There was Heart. Now it's Sniper. And eventually it will be someone else

Omg. Bomber setting up some serious disappointments...
And also Huk man.
That was hard to watch. I mean. I feel for him and everything. But that second 8gate. What was that. All gateways on one pylon, which was not protected by a stalker?
And that series against Gumiho was horrible as well.... I hope he does not take it so hard.

He's only getting future favorable matchups.

+ Show Spoiler +That's understandable I suppose, although superficial like the others. I still think TheBest was my favorite because at least he was hilariously awful which is why people were hating (dat banshee control). I think best case scenario: FruitDealer comes back and plays a horrible troll-style and everyone gets mad because he's not their savior anymore...

gumi and bomber advancing was the wetdream i had last night Possible spoilers below
edit: really disappointed over huk v sniper series. This night could have looked completely different just froma few diff decisions

Huk really didn't look like he belonged Even the one game he won, it was only a win because Sniper made a ton of mistakes, so even the one gateway he forgot all game long didn't matter. Sad to see, considering the high quality of games we had so far until now.

I feel that this way (bomber's and gumiho's way) of playing is more solid and safe. For example: you will see other terrans go hellion banshee almost every game. This is more gambling for me, since it's weak against 1) speedroaches push, 2) roach queen push, 3) roach hydra push (cf stephano). Another example is the "2 or 3 marines in a bunker": you will see bomber always make 4 marines. 2 marines against a 2 base 6:30 8 roach push and you are behind = gambling again. But on the flip side. If the zerg cuts all the corners due to the terran being passive early, you can also get outmacro'ed in the mid game which leads to your mid game push being crushed and snowballs into the late game. Honestly, it is about reading your opponent and then adapting to the different things you scout. As for which way is more 'solid', it really depends on the map/opponent/meta game.
Yes, true, but on the flipside of your flipside, the zerg has options when you play hellion banshee too: 1) They can play greedy: hellion banshee isn't hard to defend with queens 2) They can play agressive with a roachtiming, roachhydra timing or queenroach timing
Meanwhile, when the terran goes hellion banshee, he has later: - third CC - grades
And zergs know this, and can abuse this hard

Sniper was finally defeated by the avatar of fun, Gumiho. Huk is good enough to take a game off the defending Code S champion! Although i didnt watch the game, that's gotta count for something, right? Well it was like 100 supply vs 60 supply and Sniper was so confident he went down the ramp. Two good forcefields made the supplies even. All Huk does vs zerg are gate all ins. True, I was hoping for a good game before I watched the VOD. My mistake.

wasn't sniper a gsl champ? and he's already out? just proves again how volatile sc2 is. there's no way to use superior mechanical skill to distinguish yourself from everyone else. everyone at the top is basically at the same level.

Nothing FD does can make me hate him after the storyline he created in the first GSL ^^
