seed is still the worst imo, jjakji remained abit longer than seed

Protoss players and GSL is a bit a love and go type of thing.
Seed's still a great player. With the focus he's puting on HotS since december, he's gonna be a monster after march

Leenock deserved the title more then jjakji

No, he didn't. If he "deserved" it, he would've won vs. Jjakji. Instead Jjakji studied the shit out of Leenock and took the championship, and that's definitely one way champions are made.

LOL no. Jjakji completely disected Leenock and played it like an actual Bo7 instead of Leenock's seeming "just play" style.

On actual topic: Results went as expected. Anyone that thought HuK would actually get through is way too much of a romantic.

He didn't even play today, how is this relevant? (He's playing well, but I don't see how that pertains whatsoever to today's games).

It appears I should really watch today's games. The TvTs look fantastic, and seeing Sniper gone appeased the majority of TL.

Bomber and gumiho, both in my top 3 of terrans. What they have in common for me is their macro oriented play: fast 3 CC, strong midgame timingpushes. Other terrans go for later 3rd, more early game pressure, weaker midgame push.

I feel that this way (bomber's and gumiho's way) of playing is more solid and safe. For example: you will see other terrans go hellion banshee almost every game. This is more gambling for me, since it's weak against 1) speedroaches push, 2) roach queen push, 3) roach hydra push (cf stephano). Another example is the "2 or 3 marines in a bunker": you will see bomber always make 4 marines. 2 marines against a 2 base 6:30 8 roach push and you are behind = gambling again.

But on the flip side. If the zerg cuts all the corners due to the terran being passive early, you can also get outmacro'ed in the mid game which leads to your mid game push being crushed and snowballs into the late game. Honestly, it is about reading your opponent and then adapting to the different things you scout. As for which way is more 'solid', it really depends on the map/opponent/meta game.

Things we learned today:
Bomber will go 0-4 in the Ro16 due to Rule of Bomber.
Sniper was finally defeated by the avatar of fun, Gumiho.
Huk is good enough to take a game off the defending Code S champion! Although i didnt watch the game, that's gotta count for something, right?

I'd say WoL is going to end on an extremely high note. I see great ZvZs, TvTs, PvPs, PvZs, TvZs, and TvPs every week now.

^ Being the last WoL season, I think the players are putting 100% effort to show they deserve to be called the best WoL player in the end of its life.

nah nah if you didn't watch the games today then shouldn't speculate. Huk was like ... sigh it counts for nothing but sniper himself threw that game

Well it was like 100 supply vs 60 supply and Sniper was so confident he went down the ramp. Two good forcefields made the supplies even. All Huk does vs zerg are gate all ins.

Maybe these games will stop some of the stupid sniper hate. He didn't play the best starcraft, but his games were quite entertaining. He's not just another faceless zerg.
i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.
