Anyone been watching the b-stream for more than five minutes? Is it really 1-0 or is the overlay still from a previous match?

I like to think that Ryu Won was the real genius and MMA was more of his android that he programed to be amazing at SC2.

You wonder why there's no woongjin terran that hasn't ended up like that, you'd think light would go full beast mode with ryu won.

Light was amazingly good at SC2, but he has vanished. hon_sin (Bravo) is also doing very well currently in Proleague after being a non factor in BW.

was hon_sin the midevolution between Leenock and July?

yes he's the JulyTerran

I felt like a terminator after that game. First time I get mad but not knowing why... Apparently a killerheart makes you play better.

What happened? :p

Xlord was ahead. game dcs. admins handle the situation poorly having players debate it on stream. xlord defends his case. Stephano says take the win

Xlord steps in when he shouldn't, refuses a 2/0 lead in a bo5 or a regame and calls the game a "freewin" and "even bronze league would know", Stephano says "fuck it take the win congrats", Xlord calls him bm, Stephano gets pissed a bit.

There that's a bit more exact.

Tell that to MMA.
Had Stephano won against XLorD he would have had a better chance of advancing..

MMA did fell down hard in 1 year, no shame in losing to Stephano. But he was so perfect in his ZvT, at his prime i always felt no zerg could touch him. Guess people just learned to defend his drops

well, the general tvz balance shifted massively into zergs favor during the last year. i dont wanna start a round of balance whine, just sayin this might factor into mma's tvz demise.

I highly doubt it, he fell off the map months ago...months ago

That's because he isn't allowed to drink. He's only 14 or something like that.

What? It's Germany for God's sake... when I was there 10 years ago they had beer in elementary school parties with teachers around!

he is 15, drinking age (for beer and wine) is 16. And its quite lax around here, so i think he will drink one or another one (if he even wants to)

Yes, basically Take/HSC handling the situation poorly which is now causing stupid drama ;;

nah. I agree that it wasn't necessarily a good decicion, but take Take's POV into consideration. He is the Admin and XLord esports dad. Additionally the main sponsor of the tourney is also XLord's sponsor. Take knows that he would be biased in his decision. so he delegated it to someone else. Again not necessarily good, but hindsight is king

The drama is not created by Take but by bunch of teens who already have their pitchforks ready and just watch out for every opportunity to use them

to be fair, Take told the choosen players to make their decision in another room (supported by TLO) but Dima refused and said, he can form his opinion in public.

Overall it was IMO a bad situation for everyone involved but I don't think their is a good solution for everyone so I don't think this should be a to big of a deal.

I don't hate on Xlord, he had every right to defend the advantage he worked for, but the way he conducted himself was very poor and gained 0 respect from me.
I'm far, far more disappointed from Stephano though he threw a game that was not 100% over.

Consider his position, he had 2/2, was on his side of his map for defender's, had a superior concave, against Xlord's clumped army with few infestors and less energy on them then the previous engagement. Xlord had a bank, but frankly it wasn't that big, and he also didn't have many larva left.

Yes Stephano was behind, his infestor tech was super late, and his 4th was about to be sniped, the only thing we can conclude from that is Xlord had an advantage, but I don't agree that the advantage was so insurmountable that he could get a clear win.

If, say Xlord loses his entire army to a poor engagement in the choke and loses his Infestors, suddenly Stephano has a chance to get his 4th, infestors and stabilize.
If say, Xlord retreats and regroups, waits for Infestors and energy etc, he is still ahead, but Stephano has time to also regroup, set up defenses etc.

Conclusion, Xlord was ahead, but he hadn't killed the army of Stephano and, he hadn't entered the production line of Stephano. The magnitude of the advantage Xlord had wasn't big enough to justify a win for Xlord.

And because of this Stephano's decision is ridiculously stupid, he wasn't even going to fight for his own right to play. If a regame was settled in PartinG vs MKP, Stephano had every right to call for a regame, but he didn't.

I never really liked him as a person, but I could respect him as a player, now I actively dislike him. And I can't believe how many people are actually arguing this was a good decision, and not even bringing out solid facts to back up their opinions. This was, in my opinion the worst decision that could have occurred ever since the GSTL incident.

You are too rational imo ... Try to be in the place of the players and not to think to much.

Sorry, impossible I'm a rational person and I hope that if I ever am put in a stupid situation I can calm down enough to think of the best possible rational solution. And I hate that response from you, because its basically excusing what happened because "people are people" well yeah, that's exactly why Admins are there for, to make unbiased and rational decisions. What happened should not have happened.

And if you want to excuse Stephano for "gifting" the game to Xlord, that's still a big no no, unless your army is broken and your production is shattered you are not in such a bad position that you can't make a comeback.
