Creep vs. bads on ladder is easy. In a GSL booth it's really different. The whole point of creep pushing is that it's down to multi-tasking - if you're not having to multi-task much because your opponent isn't forcing you to do anything you can fill the whole map.
A Zerg's success with creep is hugely down to how much they devote to it and to what extent your opponent is devoting against it. How useful it is depends on map and opponent, so that's the real determinant.

I wanted to see those SCVs make it into the main and start attacking buildings.

Is the free stream down for anyone else ?

Happy birthday, man. Anyway, yeah. Although I miss sC during his heyday. Thanks. And yeah, it makes me sadface. sC was a cool stylistic player and we need some more stylistic players in SC2 right now. It's ok we have cool stylistic players like Gumiho. His style: owning your entire face. And. . .and Jjakji. Right? *Sniffles* Stylistics player fall out because its not very viable in most cases.. it just ends up getting figured out, there are very few stylistic. that's why sniper won gsl. that guy has no style Lol... but its also true for world class players over the last two years like Leenock and MVP. Their style: owning. Despite my joke earlier in the thread the best players might have little quirks or whatever in their play but they can play any build really well. At least that is what I like to believe, for now. Someday I hope we get bizarre virtuosos that can dominate for years with a distinct style. We'll see. I am not sure I would say that about Mvp. Mvp was one of the first to use many 'styles' but his styles were so good and stable that they became the de-facto standard. Did Terrans mech v Z before Mvp? Sure. But it was still rare and 'stylistic' (ie MKP Thor push). But after Mvp showed off the mech build with constant banshees, it became one of the 'standard' builds. Mvp was also one of the first (along with MKP) to do marine splits, multi pronge drops, mass ghosts, tank pushes (vP).
We probably have different definitions of styles. I see those more as mechanics or builds (the mech thing I can see style). In that case I'd say Leenock is very stylistic since he has always done unique things before everyone else (burrow usage with banelings and Infestors mainly). It is probably stuff that is common on ladder but we just see it first with innovators like Leenock or MVP.

Her creep spread is extremely good in tournaments as well.

This is why lings are weak in this game. Otherwise DRG could make 180 of them in a few seconds to remax and just a-win

Anyone having massive bandwidth problems with the stream? (as if I'm downloading whilst trying to watch, but I'm not - I've checked ;P)

I agree. However I have seen Scarlett push creep faster than anyone and that's vs. constant hellion harass. I may be wrong but from my perspective, and I watch WAY too much SC2, I find her creep mechanics the best including in a hectic game. Are her opponents Code S level? Some, I've seen her do this to some Code S+ Terrans for sure.

And like I said, it depends how much you want to devote to creep spread. If DRG wanted to he could have the entire map covered every time but the rest of his game would suffer for it.

Oh wow. DRG is dropping the ball a little here.

You've missed some of her tournaments though she has done this to top Korean Terrans (including Bomber) while they hellion harass creep and have map presence. Just saying. Pros have also said her creep mechanics are the best. Anyway, DRG is a monster. I was just trying to think of one player who has creep spread better and that is all I could come up with.
