He made 2 Battlecruisers and then pushed with Marauders. The whole purpose of the Battlecrusiers was JUST to get the Siege Tanks to reposition and then he charges in with Marauders which you can't deal with Mech without Siege Tanks in Siege Mode. Marauders absolutely decimate Thors and Hellions.
The only way to counter that is to have out early pre-emptive Vikings. It's so hard to try and recover from that if you have a late starport.
Do you not realise that Flash had THREE STARPORTS and (I'm pretty sure) completed his fourth BC before the game ended. It wasn't a "2 BC build" in the slightest. They really were supposed to be part of his army composition. Of course, the idea of them was to force unsieges, but it wasn't "just" for that.
The three starports are probably essential to get Battlecruisers out in the time window you need them in.
100 gas for another starport is better than waiting for the second one to finish from just a single starport, he needed the third one for his initial Vikings.
I really think that was his strategy from the beginning to hit a timing push. If he was trying to go for a later push he would have at least had a second engineering bay. He cut so many corners to get out that exact number of air units before moving out.

Agree about the quality of the games, but once Kespa practice regimen kicks in + their incredible talent, ESF will become what they used to be - B teamers... remember Kespa havent even played for a year yet...
